Agreed.  And it's about time alcohol was either restricted or banned at Parliament House.  If it's fair enough to randomly drug and alcohol test employees in a wide range of workplaces, then the same should be held for our parliamentarians. If it's good enough to randomly drug and alcohol test police, firies and paramedics who have to make critical decisions, then surely those who debate and pass laws we all have to live by, should be free of any impediments like drugs and alcohol which might impair their decision making.  And that definitely goes for their staff members.
