departure from the Dutch women's darts team because they refuse to
team up with trans woman Noa-Lynn van Leuven.

As far as I can tell (and I could be wrong) in sports—all sports—people
born as males have had the advantage of ten or 15, or even 20 years of
developmental testosterone.  And this obviously results in an adult male of
increased muscle and body mass, and increased height and reach.  M2Fs
often claim that because of targetted hormone treatment, their testosterone
levels are extremely low—matching that of a birth female.  That may well
be true, but the relevant point is that past puberty, they've already developed
their superior body strength, physique, and stamina.

     I have nothing against transgendered persons per se, but I still believe that
     there is no place for M2Fs in competitive female sports of any/all kinds.

The centre of a competition dart board is set at 1.7 metres above the floor.
A taller individual has a height advantage as they're playing more at their eye level.

This 'sport' would be on the same gender-level playing 'field' as motorsports. It is not physicality that determines the outcome of the competition. It is focus.

I watched a tenpin bowling match with a woman in the final. She beat all of her male opponents because she was more accurate than them. The fact that many of the male tenpin bowlers could turn the ball square did nothing to change the fact that they did not get as many strikes as the female player.

Contact sports, athletics, swimming, and a few other competitive sports I would say it would be unfair to have men compete against women. But, when the sport is about how accurate you are, the gender should not matter.

It does matter if you claim to be a women's team competing in a women's only competition with a biological man dressed up as a women in the team.

Then it matters.

It... is... a... darts... competition. We are not talking about golf where strength and accuracy is important. We are talking about a competition where accuracy is important, and strength is irrelevant.

Having a "women's only" competition for a sport that does not rely on gender to matter for the competition is discriminatory.

I guess another point is - why 'complicate things'?
Just because people want to live 'complicated' lives of denial, should society be 'forced' as it has been during this Biden term - to cater to all this useless complexity of people who identify as Jerbals having 'rights' to bully their way into things where people identify themselves as humans.

Well, when you lift your arms quite often to shoot your darts at the board, the idea of having unsmelly armpits is quite reasonable for other players. I would probably Brut  my armpits and chest with twice as much body spray as usual, during dart competition. Yes, that might distract your opponent.
