While a plane is airborne, crew and passengers haven't got time nor the inclination to be "therapists", they just want everyone seated and enjoying the flight ... 30 thousand feet in the air

I watched this with horror and disgust on the CH9 news yesterday.

That the current excuse of a "medical episode" is being used by the

This woman must be detained in a mental health unit for an indefinite

I think Jetstar did the right thing by returning to Melbourne to at least
let the passengers relax and unwind after the incident.  It could've been
extremely disconcerting for many of them who had an inherent  fear of
flying even from their onboarding. 

People just don't need this sort of bullshit at 35,000 feet.

I always say that if there was a female Prison Guard at Alcatraz - she would have spotted that tunnel in its first metre... because women can spot a fault in anything.

I don't think its got anything to do with it being 'women' Bias. I know male Prison Guards root female inmates in female prisons as women 'give it up' for fringe benefits from the Guards.
It's just a matter of professionalism.

Something is seriously wrong when the words Repeat Offender is a common occurrence in the News along with 'Has been known to Authorities'.
Basically, they want to spend big money on new Sports Stadiums, Flag poles on Bridges and other rubbish that isn't 'needed', yet complain that the Gaols are full - because they won't build new ones (outback).
I feel sorry for the Police. They do their jobs and the Courts just put the scums back out on the streets with the attitude that they're 'Free' to do more crimes.

This shocking story from the Gold Coast has been overshadowed by the Matthew Perry inquiry about who, or what, actually killed him. From what I've been able to gather so far is that Sophie Wang's mother was going insane, to the point where she was so delusional, violence seemed to be the next step, and Sophie was seen by her mother as an evil spirit that had to be killed. It was about religion apparently, but there's not enough information yet to make a connection between religion and the killing

Sophie's throat was slit, and she had various other stab wounds to her body, hence the police saying the scene was very confronting. There must have been red flags but we'll have to wait for further reports to see if there were any. In the meantime, the mother's next court appearance is in late November this year ... by then, the overshadowing story will be the US presidential election, and Sophie will be forgotten. However, I will post about any further developments regarding Sophie's insane mother

Everyone will be blaming god, demons and more as their buy-out excuse card. Our Courts would become a laughing stock and those laughing the most would be the nutters who sent our Legal System 'insane'.

This has got to stop. There are many people who have Mental Health problems, etc - but they don't use it as an excuse to commit violence on others. Therefore - those who do use it as an excuse are defaulted and the Courts should convict them as normal for any other violent crime, etc.
