Title: Re: Serious Societal Crimes Post by AusGeoff on Mar 13th, 2024 at 1:08am In my opinion, Australian jurisprudence needs a shake-up at both State and Federal levels. Magistrates in particular are handing down ridiculously light sentences for crimes such as assault, aggravated burglary, armed robbery, gang violence etc. And judges are directing juries, far too often, to find criminals not guilty because of mitigating circumstances in the criminal's life—poor families, abusive childhoods, drug or alcohol dependence, acting under duress, unemployment etc. And of of course, two life sentences should mean just that, or as you say, twice a 30-year sentence for killing two people. Concurrent sentencing is a nonsense, multiple sentences should be aggregated. >:( |

A mere 20 years for such a premeditated, heinous crime? Seriously? Justice Peter Applegarth said he was "limited" by law in the sentence he could impose. This is because in Queensland, 20 years is defined as "life" imprisonment. The available choice for the prosecution was to add an extra charge to the murder charge—"unlawful striking causing death" for example, which in itself attracts a 20-year life sentence. The assailant stabbed the victim initially, plus then set her on fire. That's worth two charges is it not? |

In Thailand.
If you want to kill someone - vehicle 'accident' is what is commonly used. If you run someone off the road and they die as 'accident'. You pay a big fine. If you run someone off the road and they live as 'accident'. You pay a big fine and go to gaol. Go figure? A mate of mine who lived in Thailand for 15 years taught me this factor. He was run off the road from upon his motorbike but did not die and suffered only a broken leg. The guy, who he knew - who committed the 'attempted' (murder) accident paid a big fine and also went to gaol for a few years. |

Sensory Deprivation is what a 'prison' was designed for. Even a 20 year sentence of sensory deprivation is like 60 years in time if one is to have all the mods of Prisons today - like a gym set in the outdoor recreational area, basketball hoops, a library, allowed to smoke cigarettes, homosexual sex and all the other bells and whistles they get. |

That's why I say the 'Cities' are full of Savages. I myself had to deal with a nutter on drugs with a Machete at Liverpool train station in Sydney. In this thread I'll include disruptive behavior on commercial aircraft. I'm unsure if any laws were breached in the following video in the link. Laws about such bad behavior is something I'll need to research. The seriousness of the females vicious verbal out pouring, and not remaining in her seat at the same time, while the plane was airborne, in my view, should be at least warrant a criminal offence.
However, she was deemed to be suffering a mental illness and sent to a hospital after the plane returned to Melbourne from half-way across South Australia. Personally I think she's a bird that doesn't get any, and probably hasn't had any for a longer period of time than she could take, whereupon frustration has built up to a point where once she was in a confined space with strangers in close proximity, reducing her personal boundary, then her confidential and silent frustration has decided to let go in an explosive manner at the slightest inconvenience to her, perhaps a slight annoyance that was probably nothing at all While a plane is airborne, crew and passengers haven't got time nor the inclination to be "therapists", they just want everyone seated and enjoying the flight ... 30 thousand feet in the air I think it should be legal for a crew member to knock out, literally, an abusive, unruly, and unseated passenger such as this "mentally" deranged female passenger Watch the video footage right through to the end, and wonder what was really wrong with her https://www.9news.com.au/national/melbourne-bali-flight-turned-around-disruptive-passenger/05679fa3-501b-4bd3-899e-d70dfd68c986 |

I watched this with horror and disgust on the CH9 news yesterday. That the current excuse of a "medical episode" is being used by the 'woke' reporting of these types of increasing incidents—both in the air and on the ground—indicates our increasing fear of upsetting these sorts of nutcases. Why? Surely we should be imposing the most stringent penalties, including jail, on such people. Passengers reported the woman was convinced someone had stolen her phone and was allegedly banging on the flight deck door and swearing at other passengers. As a frequent air traveller (in more socially responsible times) I can fully understand how unsettling and frightening this would've been for all the passenger and aircrew. This woman must be detained in a mental health unit for an indefinite period—if not jail. There's an interesting Civil Aviation Safety Authority site HERE that covers disorderly aircraft passengers. |

I remember a decade back that actual Legal (Lefty) Professionals were visiting Schools and giving advice to kids in regards that if they had knives in their schoolbags - Teachers were not allowed to search their bags as it was an infringement of privacy (which apparently over-rides the 'safety' rights of all ::)).
All it takes now, is some HAM-ASS or Moslem kid to carry a bomb in his Schoolbag easy as and let it off in class. |

Wow! So they began the tap and ran a hand under it while it was 'warming up' and ...well, they either stuffed up big time or turning their back on her, came back not realising she's (dementia?) turned the taps herself more so and boiled herself? Regardless - they made the mistake of leaving her and not checking the water. Dementia and other patients - you only have to turn away for a moment and they'll pull their canula's out, nasal tubes and whatever else they can get away with... all of which compromises your job. I believe though - that if 'volunteers' are sought to look after people, because they won't pay/can't pay for 'professionals' - then Volunteers should not be held accountable for lawsuits. |

Pacific Islander fruit picker charged with rape of teenage girl in small Queensland town Agaalofa Agaalofa, 25, was charged over the alleged sexual assault of a girl, 17, who was dragged into the bushes and raped while walking home in Arrawarra, northern NSW, in November. Pacific Islander workers were the subject of community complaints in at least two rural towns in 2023 – at Arrawarra and Red Cliffs in Victoria. After the alleged rape of the teenage girl at Arrawarra Beach local residents said they were “living in fear” of hundreds of PALM workers housed at a caravan park, citing a rise in violent incidents and sexual harassment. In Red Cliffs, south of Mildura, Victoria, locals said an influx of PALM workers from Vanuatu had made them feel unsafe. Residents reported alcohol-fuelled violence, shoplifting, obscenity, noise and intimidation towards female shop staff. |

I've never voted for the ALP or the Coalition, just the thought of it makes me puke My conscience is clear and I can never be accused of being a supporting party to all these senseless murders Why women don't jack up and do something about it is beyond me, they fought for everything else, and then get bumped one by one by their ex's There's something missing in their strategies, and there seems to be a lack of nous when it comes to unsuitable male partners ... they need to know before even meeting them, it's called informed intuition, but women don't use that anymore |

Once that attraction is triggered, it's very difficult for women to control it, it's in their female biological nature to respond to the high degree of confidence crims have and display. The Prison Authorities are probably aware of this "natural" problem, but politically correct politics and affirmative action overrides whatever the Prison Authorities think If female guards are not removed from that job, and given other jobs to do, the problem will continue, even if covertly |

It's just a matter of professionalism. Just like Medical Staff should not cross the line with 'patients', nor Bar Staff with Customers, etc. I know it seemed the norm Pre-80's n' all. I feel sorry for the Police. They do their jobs and the Courts just put the scums back out on the streets with the attitude that they're 'Free' to do more crimes. |

This shocking story from the Gold Coast has been overshadowed by the Matthew Perry inquiry about who, or what, actually killed him. Somehow we are supposed to care about an American drug addict whose drugs were supplied by a doctor and a drug dealer .... over and above a very serious domestic violence societal crime here at home From what I've been able to gather so far is that Sophie Wang's mother was going insane, to the point where she was so delusional, violence seemed to be the next step, and Sophie was seen by her mother as an evil spirit that had to be killed. It was about religion apparently, but there's not enough information yet to make a connection between religion and the killing Sophie's throat was slit, and she had various other stab wounds to her body, hence the police saying the scene was very confronting. There must have been red flags but we'll have to wait for further reports to see if there were any. In the meantime, the mother's next court appearance is in late November this year ... by then, the overshadowing story will be the US presidential election, and Sophie will be forgotten. However, I will post about any further developments regarding Sophie's insane mother |

Poor girl. Her last thoughts being of her own mother hurting her... killing her. Probably one of the most 'insane' things for a parent, especially a mother - to kill one's own child.
Yes, I heard that on the radio today, about Matthew Perry. I mean who gives a flying **** here in Australia, let alone anywhere else in the world?? Just another 'Celebrity' typical. Oh what a Star. Oh what a Star. ::) The power of 'mind control' by all things, be it Religion, Television, Politics, etc. Is a sorry state of mind indeed. The more you 'believe', the more 'in'(ward)sane one becomes. I bet her Mother will feel the pain when she finally realises what she's done to her daughter and I have no doubt, if her insane delusions dissipate in gaol, she'll try to kill herself to end the pain of what she's done. FEAR IS THE MIND KILLER. |

Oh please! How stupid if our Courts buy into such crap!
Everyone will be blaming god, demons and more as their buy-out excuse card. Our Courts would become a laughing stock and those laughing the most would be the nutters who sent our Legal System 'insane'. This has got to stop. There are many people who have Mental Health problems, etc - but they don't use it as an excuse to commit violence on others. Therefore - those who do use it as an excuse are defaulted and the Courts should convict them as normal for any other violent crime, etc. ...soon they'll be allowing people to burn women at the stake for having children. |

This video explains why a Chinese national poured hot coffee over the Aussie baby in a Brisbane park
This type of cowardly crime was exclusive to China, not any more - it's called "Revenge Against Society" - a very dark side of multiculturalism that just happened in Australia, and it's happening in other Western nations Apparently the Chinese national had problems getting a visa, and he set out to get revenge against white Aussies. He poured very hot coffee from a thermos onto an Aussie toddler Other crimes included in the dark side of multiculturalism are: honor killings, Islamic murder plots, female genital mutilation, and forced marriage. And now we have revenge against society introduced to Australia Be sure to watch the last half of the video right to the end https://youtu.be/0s1VxMAsvJ0 https://www.news.com.au/national/queensland/crime/man-who-allegedly-poured-coffee-on-baby-named-in-chinese-media/news-story/c4a4256b26bff3a5bec42946fc443f16#:~:text=Police%20allege%20a%20man%20came%20up%20to%20the,day%20before%20he%20was%20identified%20by%20Queensland%20police. By the way, I have never vote for the ALP or the Coalition, my conscience is clear, and I hope that the parents of the injured-for-life baby refrain from voting for them also |

One such serious societal crime is the rape by deception of disabled indigenous Australian men. You better believe that I learned that said truth just recently.
It is absolutely heartbreaking to see such a man get wasted like that over some drug dealers' heterophobia. The victim I am talking about is about 50 years old. If this man dies because he has had enough of the abuse, I will volunteer to be a pall bearer at his funeral, if his family would allow it. |
