Oh, well - that's what you get when you use Horse's Teeth Diplomacy in dealing with your major minority .... they develop an overwhelming sense of Entitlement™ and feel totally Empowered™ to go to war or threaten civil war if they want something.... even if they never actually lay out what it is they want or consider a threat etc...

Unlike the feeble-minded - I'm still waiting for the Maori to lay out what they thought was wrong with re-affirming the proper principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and all other treaties and agreements etc that have, in some ways, undermined that.

Like transgenderism or feminism or any other such -ism - this is an emotion-based nothingness rather than an objective reality ... and a government that licks the balls of a baying crowd at the gates is doomed.... and dooms all others that follow it since they will have ceded power in the land to the baying mob.
