This surprised me.


China was on track to add 150 GW of Solar power last year. In 2022 they added 87 GW, more than the total capacity of America.
Sinopec reported they have reached peak Gas demand, some experts experts believe they have reached peak total carbon emissions also

In Jan 20th's The Australian Newspaper

Good but they are still building a new coal fired power station every week.   :-[

Ah, but those new coal plants must be burning the new improved carbonless coal, as apparently they have reached peak emissions. 8-)

apparently not. Many are planned, many planned ones are not going ahead.
with their solar power increasing greatly, I would believe that.
