1000 windfarms is what, lie 1/1,000,000th of the earth’s surface? Probably much less than that as the “farm” might cover, what 100–1000 acres, the actual towers+blades be a lot less than that.

Yes, the wind generators would generate some heat while making electricity and the towers would soak up the sun’s heat and radiate it at night but it amounts to a butterfly fart in a gale.

A coal fired power station of the same actual output would cause more direct heating than that as well as contribute to greenhouse gases.

These figures expose the wind delusion for what it is.

Need more geothermal energy in the mix, wave and tide power too. Tidal power is predictable./

I am not against some nuclear in the mix but it is expensive and not a flexible way of generating power.

'Clean energy' as applied to renewables is a marketing concept, not a fact, and why is flexibilty a requirement for power generation? The inflexible, constant output of coal, gas and nuclear power stations are what is needed, not the flexible and limited output of renewables.

Flexibility is essential when dealing with renewable energy and when running the Qld-NSW-Vic-Tas-SA grid.

I had some hopes of the new small modular reactors but the first one suffered as many delays and cost overruns of any nuclear station.
