This came up in 'Blue Planet.'

70% of our agricultural land is used for livestock.
It produces only 20 % of the calories worldwide.

It's true that people eat far too much meat.

The real problem is the world's human population is far too high at 8 billion.

The sustainable population is probably less than 1 billion.
