The nature of SuperPower nations. A few very rich brain cells at the top and a very poor mass of population at the bottom for the body. Nothing much in the middle.

The money in IPL is insane and now they are taking over some other leagues in the world as well by owning their teams.

There are more Indians who earn $100,000 per year than there are the number of Australians in the entire world. Indians are very capable of developing a decent country. But they need to have their own one-child policy for the next couple of decades to remedy their social problems.

I would assume that this is a political strategy to gain influence in the region. Australia applied a similar strategy by having PNG enter the NRL competition.
