Well, this very informative clip by Astrum (respectable) kinda puts things in perspective.
Sure, the Planet has been much hotter, much much hotter.
As it has been just as cold in contrast.

...but the stand-out point and evidence is showing that unlike every other high and low spike throughout the 500+ million years - NEVER has there really been (besides a BIG asteroid smacking this planet in the face) such a fast-accelerating change as what we have now.
Organisms have changed the atmosphere many times.
We too are organisms and we are having an effect and is it really a beneficial effect that promotes 'growth', or is it one that will end growth and just another mass-extinction event?
Anyway - enjoy the end... not of the World, but of us possibly. But hey, we were willing to nuke the f_uck out of it not so long ago and still might. So what the heck, eh?

Yes. It is a bit disturbing.
I'll refrain from pointing the finger around to who, why, where, etc in regards to this 'extremely' fast rise of Temperature in opposition to 500+ million years of 'gradual' Temperature changes throughout.
But I will point the finger at the 'results' of proving the 'fast accelerated' Temperature rise in such an 'un-natural' way.

We have to hope that humans will solve the problems of obtaining Thorium energy:

That would give us clean, unlimited power.

I propose its more about accepting the empowerment of a culture that promotes the power of Environmental Care and take it out of the hands of Nations who place an importance on things like Politics, Military and other 'non-environmental' priorities.

Sort of like, ok - the North Americans promote Politics as an empowerment. The Middle-East with Military, Europe with Music, etc, etc.
...but what if Africa provided the empowerment of Land care and us here in Sahul provided the empowerment of care for the Oceans, Lakes, Rivers (water technology).

No point putting things like 'Green Energy' in the hands of a Political nation and culture. They'll just exploit it, corrupt it and make it 'work' for Politics only.
...as we have seen in America.
