Not necessarily the best source of a mutt:

All my dogs have been rescues. Tiffany not from a shelter or anything but, with her undershot bottom teeth no use for breeding or showing so still a rescue of sorts.

Shelter dogs generally have not had the best early life–they don’t stray from happy homes! But watch for it and work on the unpleasant experience and the fear of abuse etc will go away.

Most cats are rescues- 1 love my baby girls they are so sweet.

They do get bitchy with each other, but all in all , they do really well.
