I didn’t think much of either of those, esp McHales Navy.

Yeah, I'd never watch them again, but it's a fond memory watching how much fun my grandpa was having watching and laughing and wanting to share that with me.

I was probably bored out of my mind though.

He's a military 'NERD' who can only pick up 'cheap asian' $2 women.

He bans everyone who doesn't adhere to 'his opinions' strictly in agreement and is thus now talking to himself in a Board devoid of life.

I wonder if he's watched the movie The Abyss?
Maybe he's scared he'll see himself as the paranoid Lt Coffee.

Yeah, my paternal grandfather died before I was born and we left Holland when I was a few weeks shy of 10 years old so have few memories of my grands. Some time after Mum died some family member stole all the framed photos on the mantelpiece, including a good one of Oma. These photos will now be destroyed I imagine, what a bloody waste! Every family member could have had a copy.

I remember Oma as an old woman, mostly sitting in her chair. Opa I remember his labored breathing—he had had a fair bit of lung tissue removed.
