27 years of marriage - it seems like such a waste- BUT what to do about it!!
They adopted 2 kids one is 18 and one is 23- it's said a great time for a divorce to happen-  :'(

Note : Their 2 adopted children are NOW over 18 - that means no child support issues. They even had a prenuptial agreement (50/50 split) in place apparently. Looks like it will be a straightforward divorce situation. She was heaps older and couldn’t have kids. Makes one wonder if this had something to do with the split.

The perception of him being Gay probably stems from other Australians being the Errol Flynn type, like even Chris Hemsworth - all 'looks'. Peter Allen was Bi-sexual and also a looker for the women. Another perception of him being Gay was because Deborah is older than him (toy boy, etc). Being a Cabaret Dancer and more also added to this perception.
Hell, even Paul Hogan did a 'Gay' role in a movie.
Russell Crowe also did one, even though he's a Kiwi and is far less a 'pretty boy' persona.

I like Hugh. I wish him the best. But I think this divorce will end the magic ride he has had in life so far.

There are at least 20 Nrl Players - I bet you couldn't name 1.

When I went to school of the 5 boys in the Drama group 4 were Gay and the other not sure.

When My Daughter was doing Drama again the majority of the Boys in the group were gay.

Of the kids who went into more advanced performance groups the numbers were similar.

Well it seems there are a few women circling Hugh. One in particular is an Australian actress who looks like a young version of his previous wife.

Lisa, it does not take someone until he gets to 55 years of age before he decides that he wants to have his own biological children with someone who can provide that possibility. And when you commit to someone with marriage, you don't spend so many years together and then decide one day that having children at an advanced age is the reason why you want to divorce.

There is probably not one day that you have posted here where your whole intent was to not be a troll. Jackman is gay. We don't really care about his sexuality. There is no need to demonise the guy by association with sex predators and rapists.

Look I’m a woman whereas you’re a guy. As such you would know more about how a guy “thinks” so I’ll have to leave it at that.

I would not know how Jackman thinks. But, my opinion of the man is that he is gay. And even then, I could well be wrong about that, because I am basing my opinion on what he has done in his marriage. My theory is that Jackman was such a closeted homosexual that he needed to make sure he was secure in his career before he came out.

But, if you are nearly 30 years into a marriage, and then you decide to call it quits, then there must be something seriously wrong. If the marriage lasted 10 years and then ended in divorce, that would be quite a lengthy marriage that ended. But 27 years of marriage that ends in divorce just leaves me wondering what went wrong.

I will concede if the divorce is for any other reason.
