Title: Prime Minister urged to consider death taxes:
Post by Bobby. on Sep 11th, 2023 at 3:37pm
They tax you when you're alive and want to tax you when you're dead.
They then waste our tax money.
$364.6 million for the Voice referendum.
$360 billion for subs which is 9 times the correct price.
We're $1 trillion in debt and they continue to piss our money against the wall.

‘Political dynamite’:

Prime Minister urged to consider inheritance taxes

A feared tax that has been implemented in other parts of the world is being floated to the government by somebody it is closely listening to.

September 11, 2023 - 2:10PM

Incoming Productivity Commission boss Danielle Wood has urged the government to have a “sensible conversation” on the option of inheritance taxes for the rich despite admitting the policy is “political dynamite”.

A respected economist, Ms Wood, who will leave her current role at the Grattan Institute to take up the new job, described her personal views as long-standing and based on concerns that the burden of taxation will increasingly fall on younger workers.

She said her personal views did not form part of any work she planned to do at the Productivity Commission for the government, unless it made a referral on tax.

“We know that there is a growing pot of wealth, sitting in the hands of older Australians that will be passed on in coming decades,’’ Ms Wood told news.com.au.

“You would set some kind of threshold for the size of inheritances and only tax above that amount.”

Ms Wood canvassed the option in a recent speech in her role at the Grattan Institute that was first reported by The Australian Financial Review on Monday.

But the incoming Productivity Commission boss conceded the idea was “political dynamite”.

“It’s just a very politically sensitive topic,’’ she said.

“I think it’s because it’s seen as kind of interfering with a personal transaction, which is sort of given out of love, and I understand the sensitivity of that.

Further, I dunno why we feed economists.  If they knew what the bugger they were talking about, we never be in any financial mess.  Lowe is a classic example.

He lies in every post he makes, so I guess he might as well lie in the thread titles too.

It's not as if anyone's taking him seriously.

The incoming chief of the Productivity Commission has called on Anthony Albanese's Labor government to implement an inheritance tax that will take money from parents leaving their belongings to their children.

Danielle Wood, 43, the former head of the Grattan Institute thinktank, advocated the new tax in a speech delivered to the Economic Society of Australia on August 30.

Ms Wood claimed the policy would shift some of the tax burden to older, rich people and off younger people.

In her speech, she also called for retirees to pay a 15 per cent tax
on their superannuation earnings and reducing the discount on capital gains tax.

Ms Wood, who was appointed to the Productivity Commission top job when first choice Chris Barrett pulled out, said the inheritance tax should not apply to all bequests but only those over $1 million.

It's ridiculous -
so little value these days even if you're a millionaire -
yet they are bringing more migrants on a mass scale to make it worse.

Dirty Dan in Victoria has invented a land tax on people who own rental properties
which has increased rents to the most disadvantaged people
making it harder for them to ever buy a place.

This will only affect poor people, and the ones who die young. The old and rich will avoid it through trusts, gifts etc.

Jim Chalmers appointed Danielle Wood to run the Productivity Commission.
Ms Wood wants a debate on an inheritance tax, which could fund lower income tax.

Incoming Productivity Commission boss Danielle Wood has argued there is “simply no policy justification” for how little tax retirees pay, and called for a debate on taxing large inheritances as part of sweeping changes to address intergenerational inequity.

As part of an ambitious reform agenda that would push more of the tax burden on to older Australians, Ms Wood has urged the government to start a “sensible conversation” on reintroducing a  .......................

The first sentence of the reference says it all:

"Incoming Productivity Commission boss Danielle Wood has argued there is “simply no policy justification” for how little tax retirees pay, and called for a debate on taxing large inheritances as part of sweeping changes to address intergenerational inequity."

What this means is that PAYE retirees who have worked all their lives, paid into superannuation, own a house and have a modest nest egg to leave to their families will end up giving huge chunks to the government while the millionaires with their family companies and trust funds won't pay anything.

"Incoming Productivity Commission boss Danielle Wood" - another dopey sheila handed a job way above her capacity just because she is a pharken woman... you'll all learn one day.... another educated idiot non-savant who knows it all at your cost.

Well - there's comparative poverty to consider.... is an old white bastard of 74 with a mortgage richer or poorer than a bleck who lives on a tropical island and is given housing and a boat, has free land, and has plenty of free time and cops the same income level and has not a worry in the world other than ensuring his supply of rum on the sandy beaches?  Is a young bleck woman trying to make ends meet in the big city living in a crowded estate richer or poorer than the tropical island bleck?

Aborassic Park would solve all that by giving every bleck the same rights and opportunities... their warm loving democratic culture will see to the rest ... no more arguments over royalties and rip-offs... no more need for a voice.... just their own personal paradise the way they had it pre-1788 ... tourists will flock to it in droves to see the last remaining Stone Age culture at its sharing loving work... the world could learn a lot from them and their gentle philosophy ...

You understand what is this concept of 'comparative poverty'?  dividie has a lot of trouble coming to grips with it in his obsessions... like ever so many other morons he thinks that all old white men are oppressors of everyone else.... there is a place in this nation for a long wall and a firing squad...... or gulags .... or a dedicated guild of soul-less assassins... or plain rounding up of enemies of the state and their expulsion ....

We already had extreme taxes before Albo and Dan thought of more.
In Victoria:
land tax, stamp duty when selling property and payroll tax come to mind.

They have been around a long time.
There are many more.

A little more on that oppressed and disempowered and impoverished Abo living on a tropical island in paradise etc and being paid to do so with all the modern gear supplied to sustain his traditional life etc (blah, blah, blah)....

When AlboCorp push their voice on us and the Abos are given 'native title' over the waters in accordance with one demand of 'the voice' (LMFAO), that oppressed islander will be able to receive 'royalties' from every other group's usage of those waters - every passing ship... every fishing trip... every coral reef tour .... every yachtsman wanting to sail to New Guinea etc ... not only will he and his small tribal group be living in paradise - they'll be doing so in unheard of riches!!  Just paying the rent by fair means or foul - as if anyone owns the oceans, same as unused land, as a private domain ....  FFS ...

If you people today do not put a complete stop to this madness, future generations will be paying the price over and over for your terminal stupidity. and eventually in blood.  Once again ...... History will absolve me - the Poet Laureate of the Counter-revolution - it will surely hang my opponents in effigy or anywhere else it can find space for a rope.

Nah then - about this never-ending sheila poo in the same vein of 'oppressed/disempowered/impoverished' .... so many real issues - so little sense doing the rounds....

Where are the hordes of Old White Men demanding 'at least 50% of winnable seats', 'at least 50% of the top slot jobs' and so forth for men?  Where are the hordes of White Men demanding reparations and the rent in return for their past enslavement to these social constructs of family, breadwinner, risk taker, warrior willing or unwilling, first in line to risk life and limb for others (how many of those men who drowned this year went into the water to try to rescue someone else?)?  Where are the hordes of men demanding a better chance at the fat and lazy jobs and actually being heard and copping handouts left and right?  Where is the conga line of Men complaining that they've always been wallet objects and were given the Female Gaze constantly to ascertain the thickness of their wallet?  **Back to poor little Bernard Keane there - he crowed that men were now being subjected to the same scrutiny as women always were.... well - what's changed unless you're a poof and wouldn't know - it was always your wallet that counted?   The boys at school must have stolen his lunch money.**

Jest one day o' dat 'woman oppression' dere, Lord - an' Ol' Rastus in dat hot cotton fiel' go to his Maker a happy man...

Interviewe With The Neo-Vampyre:-

"I'm here today with the new Police Commissioner, Sarah Overthwaite ... Commissioner - that's a very impressive set of breast medals you've got there.... how did you - a woman in a male-dominated world - earn all those?  You must have seen some pretty horrendous things in your duties as a police officer......"

"Well - it took years of hard work... this one is for showing up on shift 75% of the time, this one for brushing my teeth regularly, this one for my work in inter-ethnic group moderation, this one for signing papers correctly every day.... and this one for keeping my desk clean.  It was a pretty hard haul, but I made it.  This last one with the yellow stripe is for supervising and then later reporting on male officers who were confronted by struggling Abos who thought they were the reincarnation of Mohamed Ali and hordes of old ladies armed with scissors and similar....."

"No diving into a flooded creek to save a drowning child, or rushing into a burning building to pull out an old lady, or dealing with a gang of armed robbers intent on jihad, or stopping a car doing high speeds and endangering lives??"

"Oh, no - the truly hard work is in supervising those things from a distance and later reporting on them... picking the eyes out of any possible error or even any complaint from Abos or anyone else in the public...."

"Well - those are clear reasons why we need more women in those top spots.... Commissioner - what are your plans for the future of the Force?"

"At least 50% women for a start...."

"But won't that place women officers at greater risk?"

"Not at all - we'll just move the available men around faster....... they'll take orders or they're out of the Force...."

The Govts are desperate -
they spent all our tax money and then starting printing more money.
Nothing was set aside for our old age pensions -
it's all spent - it's gone.
No politician has any plan except to issue more Govt bonds
and then the Reserve Bank pays for them using printed money.
That causes inflation and makes our savings worthless.
It's the end of a Ponzi scheme.

Then let all deceased politicians pay their share of death duties on all their assets and such.... ALL of them....
