Title: Australian corporate fascism under way
Post by capitosinora on Sep 6th, 2023 at 11:31am
"Fascism is a merger of state and corporate power"
Benito Mussolini

It first started with the pharmaceutical corporate mafia using corrupt politicians to impose incredible restrictions on the freedom of Australian citizens during the COVID pandemic. Now it continues with Australian banks directly restricting the freedom of speech of Australians.

Have the banks stopped laundering drug money yet?

Emil Cosman is a moron, and totally misrepresents
what the NAB is doing.  Anything he says can safely
be ignored.  He also posts on BitChute (LOL) and is
a conspiracy theorist as well!

The actual wording of the new rules he's talking about
are these:

Quote:
NAB will investigate instances where it identifies or is
made aware that an account or an electronic banking
service is being used in a financially abusive manner,
including:

• coercive or controlling behaviour to limit a person's access to or use of funds;
• making profane, derogatory, discriminatory or harassing comments to any person;
• making or promoting threatening or abusive language to any person;
• making or threatening physical or psychological harm to any person.

We may reasonably exercise one or more of our
rights in these terms and conditions to suspend,
cancel or deny an account holder's access or use of
the account, card or an electronic banking service if
we reasonably consider it appropriate to protect a
customer or another person from financial abuse.

—All seems perfectly reasonable to me.

That's what the guy in the video pointed out, word for word

No it's quite different. It's only within online banking text. 'the blocking of abusive messages sent via payment transfers'.
https://news.nab.com.au/news/nab-takes-on-financial-abuse/

A real abuse is the W Australian court order being issued by police.  Disrupt Burrup Hub, a group campaigning against fossil fuel expansion in Western Australia’s Pilbara region, said the orders had been imposed on the four people charged in relation to the protest at minister O’Neill’s home. The restraining orders prevent them from “harass[ing] or mak[ing] any reference to the Person Protected [O’Neill] by any electronic means, including by using the internet and any social network application (such as “facebook”) to depict or refer in any offensive manner to the Person Protected”. This would likely include talking to ABC Four Corners. The apprehended violence is talking about the politician.

Australia 'Compromised' by National Bank Rule Closing Accounts for 'Speech Violations'

A new forthcoming rule by the National Australian Bank (NAB), expected to be implemented in November, would allow the bank to close customers' accounts for a wide range of speech-related offenses. A banking expert said it was an abuse of human rights and "antithetical to democratic values."
According to a news release by the bank about the updated terms and conditions, the rule will allow bank administrators to investigate and close the accounts of people reported to have used "coercive or controlling behavior to limit a person's access to or use of funds; making profane, derogatory, discriminatory or harassing comments to any person; making or promoting threatening or abusive language to any person," and "making or threatening physical or psychological harm to any person."
The rule change is in keeping with guidance issued by Canberra in June that seeks to bring various government institutions’ functioning in line with national law.
The move has aroused the fury of defenders of free speech, which does not have the same legal foundations as it does in the United States, where speech by and large is legally restricted only by its potential to imminently provoke violent or illegal behavior..........................

Posting this sort of rubbish twice doesn't make it any
more true—or relevant.  Nor do large bold fonts LOL.

You're an American, and you have virtually no intimate
knowledge of exactly how the Australian banking industry's
security functions, moreover you have little idea of what
we expect from our financial institutions in the way of fair,
safe and unbiassed treatment for all sectors of our society.
Unlike the United States, harassment and/or vilification
of any/all individuals is illegal—initiated from or by any
means, including third parties such as banks.

To suggest that the NAB's actions are a curtailment
of free speech is truly ludicrous, and again illustrates
your ignorance of their intent.

I'm also guessing that—by the tone of your many similar
comments—you're a closet anarchist.

It's interesting how Aussies have turned from tough convict guys into submissive  subjects of his majesty.
Typical example of successful convict's reeducation.
