We have billions of batteries of all sizes being disposed of after their working life. Recycling is only just getting organised. But my question is about residual charge. Batteries are charged by some form of energy transfer this takes energy and money, but batteries are never completely drained. So over time, we are wasting a lot of money and fuel. Does anyone have any information on this pesky detail about the end of battery life?
