yep - I felt it - only one small jolt.

I remember some years ago, I was sitting in bed reading. All of a sudden, I felt my butt wiggle in bed. After a few seconds, I wondered if that was me or if we just had an earthquake. The next morrow, I found that there was a 5.1 magnitude earthquake somewhere north of Rockhampton.

Checking the security footage to see if the earthquake registered anything up here.

I'll bet Daniel Andrews gets blamed for this.

After all, he gets blamed for everything else that happens in Victoria.

That's because just about everything that happens in Victoria iS Dan Andrews fault.    :)

I wonder how much more they'll suffer with his $200 billion debt.  Commiserations Victorians.

Felt it in the outer South Eastern suburbs. Nowhere near as strong as one we had a few years ago, which lasted a lot longer - maybe 20 seconds or so? but that one was nearer to us.

Victorians have been told to brace for more aftershocks after a record-breaking earthquake struck the state.
The 5.9 magnitude quake hit near Mansfield, 180km north-east of Melbourne, about 9.15am today, according to Geoscience Australia.
The earthquake is the largest Victoria has ever experienced.

A few short years ago we had that huge tremor that shook the house for about 20 seconds!
It just rattled the whole house!
We ended up with hairline cracks in plaster right through centre of house as if it were ready to split in two. The shower tiles had cracks in them too.

I had turned off all lights, tv, heater fan, so this other thing before the tremor wave I didn’t notice… but my son said before it happened where he was … all the lights flickered ….
Hubby says tremors/quake must’ve hit the power stations before it hit here.

Yep.    I felt it very slightly, and I live more
than 250km from the epicentre at Sunbury.
