Some want bison and horses introduced into these newly forested lands, turn them into grassland.

This is not a simple one way process.

In summer mature Arctic forests slow growth and so slow the uptake of CO2. Seems the higher temperatures from AGW cause droughts in the main growing season, slowing CO2 uptake.
