I was too scared to go out.
I couldn't believe how they turned into such monsters.

The 18th of March 2020 was the first case of covid19 in Rockhampton. By the 6th of April 2022, we had 1200 confirmed cases for that week. And although there have been over 100 cases confirmed per week in my local area, that number has gone under 100 for a few weeks now and seems to be dying off.

I cannot recall anyone being fined for being sick in public in my entire life. The virus is not a death sentence, and we should not be treated as ATMs for the government's ineptitude in handling the public being sick.

Only twice in my life have I ever been told to go home for being sick. Once was when I showed up at work sneezing. The other time, I was told to leave the church because I had influenza. No police resources were used to fine me or anyone else for being sick. Why should covid19 be any different?
