But ultimately, the real victims in all of this are the pupils who are just trying to learn. Disruptive children make it hard for everyone to concentrate, and one problem child can detrimentally impact an entire classroom.

Given the lack of control in our classroom environments, perhaps it is no surprise our literacy and numeracy standards continue to decline. Despite the hundreds of billions spent on education.

I agree with much of this Frank but I may comment that reflecting back a lot of years it seems obvious that the majority of kids who exhibited bad behaviour had obvious psychological problems. Not saying that it should be tolerated but maybe treatment. I never once seen punishment rectify bad behaviour in the classroom. Obviously it cannot be ignored so something would need to be done.

Oregon again says students don’t need to prove mastery of reading, writing or math to graduate, citing harm to students of color

Opponents argued that pausing the requirement devalues an Oregon diploma. Giving students with low academic skills extra instruction in writing and math, which most high schools did in response to the graduation rules, helped them, they have argued.

It didn't start with the Hamas attack as awful as that was, This was likely a response to decades of occupation expansion and murders. Israel continue to take more and more and more land for their settlements.

A local council in inner Melbourne plans to replace the Australian flag with the flags of minority groups multiple times per year as part of a “ridiculous” new policy.
