Ambulance Officer stabbed
Quote:
The alleged murderer is seeking treatment for mental health issues. Speaking as a person who has spent time in mental health, you won't automatically get off a murder charge simply for claiming lunacy. |

Tragic… what a waste …this young 29 year old ambo looked liked the kindest soul… and according to all his paramedic colleagues … he had a lot of empathy and helped calm many people in dire situations. I was so shocked when I heard the news… I just blurted out “are you f…. ing kidding me!!” My heart goes out to his wife, family, and friends. RIP |

There is no way the alleged offender playing the "mental health card" will have his murder charge dropped or downgraded.

If it is downgraded or dropped… then being mental will mean he will kill again. He’s a big bloke too… not a weakling that can be overcome in a struggle. |

If he does have a mental health issue, he should be treated for such. But, his mental health issue would only grant him a "not guilty" verdict if he was not lucid/aware of his actions at the time of the stabbing. |

Having worked in Mental Health.
I always say if they plead 'mental immunity' in Court. Then they wouldn't know they were given the maximum sentence anyway, now would they? ;) |

Random attack on an unarmed and unwitting 'authority figure' - people who effectively hate this country see anyone in a uniform as an enemy and a potential cop or something. People do crazy things like attacking firemen and ambos when they are attending troubles...
What have our politicians and their lackeys done to our country? |

Yet another white man dead at the hands of a coon.
That's 2, or is it 3 in a matter of weeks? You're right Lydia thorpe. This is war, and your lot are starting it. Beware when white man finally stands up and says no more. Then the genocide will truly start. |

The alleged offender is Pacific Islander. Lydia would not give a damn about him, no matter the circumstances. If he is not indigenous Australian, it is not her concern. |

These are serious questions, but I doubt I'll get serious answers. Anyway, I'll give it a try: 1. what level of education did your parents reach? 2. what level did you reach? 3. did your parents make overtly racist comments in your presence when you were a child? |

I’ve not read back...but I hope you’ll allow me to answer your questions. 1. Both my parents finished school. Primary school (they were not allowed to go to high school as their parents couldn’t afford to send them to school). 2. My parent’s had 4 kids. ALL of us went to Sydney Uni and graduated with at least 1 degree. Being the family failure I only graduated with 1 degree (Arts - with a double Major in Modern Greek and Political Economy). I dropped out of my Law degree half way through as I got married and soon after found myself pregnant with twins. The pregnancy/delivery was difficult and the marriage was riddled by domestic violence. 3. Both my parents made overtly racist comments all my bloody life! These comments were mainly directed at Aussies (after a while it became obvious that it was get back for all the racist shyte they were put through from the moment they arrived in Australia ie from the mid 60’s onwards). Am I racist? I don’t think so. Why? I hate all races equally. |

I don’t think the guy is a coon. He looks like some Islander to me. Anyway ... if he was born elsewhere I think he should be deported back to his home country. |
