Kerryn Lyndel Phelps AM (born 14 December 1957) is an Australian medical practitioner, public health and civil rights advocate, medical educator and former politician.

She was the first woman to be elected president of the Australian Medical Association (AMA). In 2001, she was awarded the Centenary Medal for services to health and medicine. In 2011 she was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for her service to medicine, particularly through leadership roles with the AMA, education and community health, and as a general practitioner. She is Conjoint Professor in the National Institute of Complementary Medicine at the Western Sydney University.

Phelps was elected to the Council of the City of Sydney on 10 September 2016 as a member of the Clover Moore Independents Team, and was then appointed as Deputy Lord Mayor of the council. She resigned as Deputy on 26 June 2017 and is now an independent politician.

Phelps is also a keen sportswoman, and in 2014, was appointed to the board of Hockey Australia.

She is also an ambassador for Barnardos Australia.

The words might not have been said out loud, but you can almost hear the hasty mutterings taking place after Dr Kerryn Phelps came out yesterday and admitted that both her and her wife have been suffering serious side effects from their Covid shots.

Indeed, today’s Sydney Morning Herald is running their Phelps article with the title: Not anti-vaxxers: Dr Kerryn Phelps says she suffered COVID vaccine injury, calls for more research.

Phelps and her wife took the Pfizer vaccine in July of 2021 and fell ill shortly after.

‘I have had CT pulmonary angiogram, ECG, blood tests, cardiac echogram, transthoracic cardiac stress echo, Holter monitor, blood pressure monitoring and autonomic testing. In my case the injury resulted in dysautonomia with intermittent fevers and cardiovascular implications including breathlessness, inappropriate sinus tachycardia and blood pressure fluctuations.’
Yesterday’s news.com.au exclusive titled: Dr Kerryn Phelps reveals ‘devastating’ Covid vaccine injury, says doctors have been ‘censored’ has come as a shock to the luvvie media. I suspect the readers of this magazine will be less surprised by the revelation that medical professionals have been keeping quiet about their negative experiences with the vaccine.

Perhaps most damning of all is Phelps’ confirmation of what people have been saying for the best part of a year – that the Therapeutic Goods and Drugs Administration have not been stringently following up on reports of adverse reactions and so potential cases do not make it into official statistics – which are then quoted as proof of ‘safety’. We used to call this ‘turning a blind eye’.

If this is true, and Australia’s vaccine injury statistics are incomplete due to a failure on behalf of the TGA, then all subsequent claims about vaccine safety are rightly called into question. A story like this should be at the top of the Prime Minister’s list, but so far Albanese has not questioned the TGA or Pfizer.

Phelps continues in her comments to news.com.au:

‘This is an issue that I have witnessed first-hand with my wife who suffered a severe neurological reaction to her first Pfizer vaccine within minutes, including burning face and gums, paraesethesiae, and numb hands and feet, while under observation by myself, another doctor and a registered nurse at the time of immunisation.
‘I continue to observe the devastating effects a year-and-a-half later with the addition of fatigue and additional neurological symptoms including nerve pains, altered sense of smell, visual disturbance and musculoskeletal inflammation. The diagnosis and causation has been confirmed by several specialists who have told me that they have seen ‘a lot’ of patients in a similar situation.
‘Jackie asked me to include her story to raise awareness for others.
‘We did a lot of homework before having the vaccine, particularly about choice of vaccine at the time. In asking about adverse side effects, we were told that “the worst thing that could happen would be anaphylaxis” and that severe reactions such as myocarditis and pericarditis were “rare”.’
Of course, those who refused the vaccine because ‘they did their own research’ were relentlessly mocked and ridiculed by government officials, health authorities, and the press.

The former Member for Wentworth, former Councillor of the City of Sydney, former Deputy Lord Mayor of Sydney, and the first woman to be elected president of the Australian Medical Association is a difficult public figure to ignore when she claims that the true rate of Covid vaccine side effects are ‘far higher than acknowledged due to under-reporting and “threats” from medical regulators’.

Even more difficult to ignore is that these claims were made in a submission to Parliament’s Long Covid inquiry and form part of the official record. They cannot be erased in the same way that Silicon Valley deleted individuals who went public about their vaccine injuries on social media.

The medical system in Australia has been fundamentally broken by the introduction of changes to the Health Practitioner National Law – first by the Queensland Labor Party and soon to be copied everywhere – to effectively gag doctors and medical professionals, threatening them with deregistration if they question the official government health advice. In addition, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency also warned that doctors caught ‘undermining’ Covid vaccines or the government rollout at the beginning of the pandemic would ‘face consequences’.

The TGA executives have disgraced themselves by its prostituting the TGA to political panic.

At the very least, the HPRG Executive should resign or be removed from their positions.

People have lost all faith in the media and the health care service when it comes to info regarding covid.
It's sad to see when all we want is the truth, and the two places I mention above have a duty of care to tell us the truth. They just do not seem to want to tell us the truth though.

Even if my 5th Covid vaccine doesn't do anything what was the harm in me having it?

It didn't cost me anything (other than my time and a bit of petrol driving me and my aunt to the chemist and back) and the only 'side effects' were a bit of tiredness the day after (which had gone the following day) and a sore arm (which has now almost completely disappeared).

My aunt (93 today - Happy Birthday !!) had a slight sore arm on the second day after the vaccine and that's almost completely gone as well.

Oh, and once again... I still remember you saying that you'd be prepared to go live on TV and have 10 (or was it 20?) Covid vaccinations all at the same time... have you changed your mind about that since then?
