Not political I would think. Just business as usual by the remote tribes of the region.

A very difficult role in a very traditional culture like PNG. Hope she can make a go of it.

Pilots used to be the only ones of all expat workers allowed to carry hand guns. Australian and NZ pilots didn't care about the privilege, Americans and some Europeans  did. That was 40 years ago. Natives in gumboots is something new too.
