Populations of polar bears are stable or declining. The biggest population is off the Canadian Arctic Archipelago which is where the last of the thick ice is. Volume and thickness of Arctic ice is decreasing so more and more populations of polar bears will decline.

These are the facts in a warming world where the Arctic warms twice as fast as the rest of the globe.
