Title: Have we ended the Quaternary Age?
Post by Xavier on Feb 17th, 2023 at 9:52pm
Interesting and educational clip on Earth's cycles and influences and how 'we' may have just changed the pattern?

Looking at the Milankovitch Cycle—the North Pole will not have less sunlight (insolation) hitting it for 50,000 years. Very long interglacial. So the film is wrong there.Which the film mentions at about the 10 minute mark.

We have been warming while the inclination was causing us to cool—when the inclination part of the Milankovitch Cycle is ended we will have TWO causes of warming—anthropogenic and Milankovitch!

dear JaSin,
Did you know -

there's a star man waiting in the sky
he'd like to come and meet us
but he thinks he'd blow our minds?

So, Booby. Do you still believe conman Dubyne about the sun being in a GSM? You have no doubt at least looked at some of the material from Dr K. Strong that I posted in my MRB?

So—is the sun in a GSM, yes or no?

Is a mini ice age coming, yes or no?

You mean the bloke that uses a poor poley bear, balancing delicately on an ice floe?  The alarmist is strong in this one. ;D ;D ;D ;D

And the coldest temperatures were before the Maunder Minimum? So damned inconvenient. ;)

Any environment topics should be posted here -
in their correct place.

JaSin,
I had to phone someone so I picked on you - who who -
Hey, that's far out, so you heard him too
Switch on the TV, we may pick him up on channel two
Look out your window, I can see his light
If we can sparkle he may land tonight
Don't tell your poppa or he'll get us locked up in fright

yes - he'll be jiving:

Didn't know what time it was, the lights were low
I leaned back on my radio
Some cat was laying down some rock 'n' roll
"Lotta soul," he said
Then the loud sound did seem to fade
Came back like a slow voice on a wave of phase
That weren't no DJ, that was hazy cosmic jive

Says the dweeb hosting a whole off-topic thread that belongs in my MRB!

You have looked at some of the stuff about the sun (sun affects critters and stuff like CMEs is not part of the Earth environment.)

I am guess you still believe a liar like Dubyne.

I don't believe anything I read -
all statements are just theories with a certain amount of evidence that is also debatable.

100 years ago they taught that the entire universe was the Milky way galaxy that we can see.

You believe everything Dubyne says.

There are no hypothesis in the sun thread, just observations.

That Dubyne is a pretty smart fellow Bobby.
How did you come across him?
