Title: Bonnie Raitt "Song of the Year"

Take note of the guitar. It is actually being played. Neither thrashed or played in that stupid inarticulate open strum that everyone is doing these days.

Bonnie is a wonderful guitarist.

She ranks as one of the top slide guitar players of all time.

Derek Trucks is probably my favourite - he makes an SG sing.

I was going to say the same in the previous post but there is some great company in that list. He is about my favourite though with susan's guitar and vocals.

Midnight in Harlem is about perfect, For me the highlights start with the the sound of rivets in the ride cymbal, The horn section Sussns guitar and vocal the harmonies it is tracking along close to perfect till Derik's solo which just steps it up to the next level when there should be no level above perfect.

Hadn't seen Derik at 13 before, nobody has any right to be that good at 13.
