Title: RIP Kirstie Alley

Kirstie Alley, who starred in Cheers, has died soon after being diagnosed with cancer.

She was 71.

Alley's children True and Lillie Parker announced her death on social media before her manager Donovan Daughtry confirmed the news in an email.

They remembered their "fierce and loving" mother for her "zest" for life.

"As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more amazing mother and grandmother," her children's statement said.

They thanked the "incredible" staff at a Florida cancer hospital for the care they provided their mother.

Me too! I love watching re runs. I'm into old stuff like Cheers, Seinfeld, King of Queens and Everybody Loves Raymond. These shows help me unwind and yeah ... I get a few laughs here and there too.

What caught me by surprise was Kirsty's age. She's my parents age???😳

What's that link about?

Edit : Ahh. Might want to merge these topics then.

I'm re-watching every season of Cheers and Frasier.

They don't make 'em like that anymore.

Do what I do.

Don't reply to ANY of his posts; don't even click on his threads.

He's a dangerous idiot, and everybody in this forum should ignore him.

RIP Kirsty.

You heard about Jane Fonda?
For someone so fit and eats healthy… never had any illness …suddenly in September…..

Jane Fonda offered fans a health update after her lymphoma diagnosis. In a blog post, she said she is filled with “hope and inspiration” and that “lymphoma is not going to stop me.” The actress was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in September

She was a Scientology cultist and a anti-vaxxer.

Death was too good for her.

Sad she were those things but neither deserve a death penalty.

Then there's Seinfeld and Becker repeats - and that's about IT, for free to air television
I'm at the stage, now, I know all the punchlines before they're delivered.

10 Peach (Channel 11) here in Perth:

Endless repeats of Friends and The Big Bang Theory starting at 6pm until about 9 or 9:30 Monday to Friday.

Then they have repeats of some of the week's repeats on Saturday and Sunday evenings.

When they reach the end of each show they start them from the beginning again.

They've been doing it for about 2 or 3 years now. No wonder hardly anyone watches free to air commercial TV anymore.
