While I have drunk tea/coffee from chipped enamel mugs I prefer a set to maximise enjoyment of meals.

Six coffee mugs all all different shapes/sizes, plates ditto—not conducive to full enjoyment of a great meal. OK for a hurried meal on the move  but that is it.

Yes there are option but they are all terrible.

The best is the metal straws with the plastic covering. However as soon as you misplace the cleaning thing for them they almost certainly become a health issue.

That’s the exact issue I have about metal straws too!
I’m tempted to buy some… and then there are those hard plastic ones with curves and swirls …
It makes my mind think… what a nightmare it must be to clean them after use if not rinsed straight after use!

Haven't tried them - may give it a go but have to admit it does not sound great.
