I calculated 349kg for the 55 stone conversion. Even Big Kev was 259kg at his heaviest. I cannot imagine anyone could be 90kg heavier than Big Kev.
It is not even newsworthy. The fact that someone can pile on that much weight, might be newsworthy. The fact that the guy dies from his condition is not. |

I cannot keep track of my diet unless it is to do with how much junk food or alcohol I have consumed in a week. I do not care about caloric intake, for as long as I am full or satisfied with my meal, there is no reason for me to concern myself with what it is that I am eating. I have had a cough for the last 2 weeks. And I had a cold for a couple of days. Sitting in my cupboard is 6 empty litre bottles of scotch. That is $400 worth of scotch I have consumed in the last 4 or 5 weeks. I have empty KFC and fried chicken boxes with discarded chicken bones sitting in my freezer. I have about 6 empty bottles of cola sitting in my recycling, even when the recycling truck came on Monday morning. There is no doubt that I could probably put on some weight, even with my influenza preventing me from eating a great deal of things. But, when I do behave myself with my diet, I can lose a kilogram per week without much exercise. I was losing 2kg per week at one stage and went from 112kg down to 103kg inside a month. No junk food. No sugar. Plenty of exercise. If I made a genuine commitment to a healthy life, I could be down to my ideal weight range by September. These arseholes that weigh in at 350kg are nothing but a waste of space. I see no value in them living for a long time. Anyone who is 20kg overweight or more should be trying to get down to being no more than 5 to 10kg overweight at worst. Me included. But, I have no interest in feeling sorry for anyone 50kg overweight or more. I was nearly one of them. In some respects, I was one of them. Those people who are that morbidly obese should not get media attention. Perhaps that is what they want. |

As I understand it, some people can eat junk food to the point of recommended calorie intake. Whereas other people can eat healthy food to the point of recommended calorie intake. Some people claim that it does not matter where you get your nutrition from, as long as the calorie intake does not exceed recommendation levels. These people are wrong because the type of calories you consume has an effect on digestion and nutrition levels. |

Lock two similar people in a cage, give one 1500 calories of Maccas and one 1500 calories of Mediterranean diet per day for 6 months, they will lose similar amounts of weight. Give those same people either a 24/7 buffet of Mediterranean or Maccas, in all likelihood, the Mediterranean option guy will put on less weight because good food tends to be more satiating. The high sugar and empty carbs of Maccas will spike the blood sugar and cause eating binges. |

He was tempting fate by being obese. Obesity should be avoided at all costs...
"Obesity is the accumulation of abnormal or excessive fat that may interfere with the maintenance of an optimal state of health. The excess of macronutrients in the adipose tissues stimulates them to release inflammatory mediators such as tumor necrosis factor α and interleukin 6, and reduces production of adiponectin, predisposing to a pro-inflammatory state and oxidative stress. The increased level of interleukin 6 stimulates the liver to synthesize and secrete C-reactive protein. As a risk factor, inflammation is an imbedded mechanism of developed cardiovascular diseases including coagulation, atherosclerosis, metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, and diabetes mellitus. It is also associated with development of non-cardiovascular diseases such as psoriasis, depression, cancer, and renal diseases. On the other hand, a reduced level of adiponectin, a significant predictor of cardiovascular mortality, is associated with impaired fasting glucose, leading to type-2 diabetes development, metabolic abnormalities, coronary artery calcification, and stroke. Finally, managing obesity can help reduce the risks of cardiovascular diseases and poor outcome via inhibiting inflammatory mechanisms." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5507106/ |

If you feed someone 1500 calories worth of Maccas per day, the amount of nutrition someone gets from the burgers, fries and drinks would be ridiculously inadequate. It is not the calorie count that makes the difference. It is the nutrients that people get from the food. Someone might be able to survive 6 months eating nothing but McDonalds. But, they are going to be in hell for much of the time. Their muscles will waste away, their body fat will increase. The insulin spike that one would have from the carbs and the sugar (assuming that someone would wash the occasional meal down with a soft drink) and the fat would just lead someone to obesity levels and little chance of a short term recovery. There has been a documentary on the topic. Watch "Supersize Me". Murgan Spurlock went on a diet of eating nothing but McDonalds for a whole month. He gained 11kg. He had trouble getting an erection. His blood pressure went up considerably. He had no energy. Someone eating salads and vegetables and fruits and low-fat meats and low-carbs will end up being able to get as much nutrition as they need. I found this out when I tried to eat very healthy and go on a healthy exercise routine. I was doing well after a few days. But, trying to exercise after having a poor or mediocre diet is something that leads to me struggling through the days. |

The skinny version of myself was when I was quite weak. Healthy, I was doing quite long hours at work and university and managed my life okay. Being overweight has been a struggle. Obese was where I managed to notice how out of shape I had gotten. Morbidly obese, I doubt I could reach any further in a low point in my life. I had hit rock bottom and I did not dig any further. If I am healthy, strong, or overweight, I get laid fairly okay. When I was skinny, I was getting laid. But, the lack of strength did have its disadvantages when some lady wanted me to be a bit more aggressive. I cannot think of a time when I was obese or morbidly obese and getting laid. |

Bobby, back in 2008, I was a member of a local gym. I spent something like $400 for a year's membership. I did get a bit more fit. But, I hardly spent a great deal of time making myself use the equipment efficiently. I would ride my bike to the gym. I would sign in and do a few warm-up exercises. Then I would go to the bench press and do about 20 repetitions with 50kg. Then I would rest for a few minutes. Then I would put on another 10kg (if I felt willing and fit enough) and do up to 10 repetitions of 60kg.
There were a few fitness fanatic females in the gym. Some good-looking 50-year-old females with bodies like they were in their 30s. One girl there had to be about 25 to 30 years of age. She was very pretty and had the best legs I have seen on a woman in a long time. I was caught out by staff who saw me ogling the girl. They told me that I either start using the equipment or go and sit down somewhere and not hog the machines staring at other members. Fitness models and female gym members will not sleep with you unless you show them results. Or a big bank account. |

The best thing about me is that I have a youthful look for someone in their 40s. I still get hit on by women in their 20s who think that I am no older than 30. It is just the gut that gets in the way of me getting more action from them.

The camel stores its fat reserves in its hump but we store that fat around our stomach. It's actually not unhealthy - it served our ancestors to let them live longer when there was a shortage of food. We don't get those shortages these days as we can eat every day. If you didn't eat for 2 weeks your gut would disappear. |

Well, I know that if you take the wrong stuff in either a diet or supplement form, you can sustain penile atrophy. And if you have the right diet or supplements (medication), you can have a fuller erection. If I knew of the benefits of one product you could find in the supermarkets for $5 a bottle, I would probably have bought it every fortnight and drank it down consistently.

Do you realise that the majority of sales in takeaway stores is from "fat people"? Regulars come in a couple times a week to some stores, or they vary the places that they consume takeaway food. If "fat people" (of which I am not sure how you would define the standard) were barred from buying takeaway food, sales at those businesses would fall considerably. |

Can a fatty be banned from an All you can Eat Restaurant,
like a Drunk is banned from Pubs? |

A big eater might put the restaurant at a break even point for their "all you can eat" meals. A drunk might drink 3 or more times the amount of alcohol that a regular drinker drinks. The difference being is that a drunk keeps paying for the drinks to keep coming. |
