In an interview with UK’s Telegraph, prime minister calls on global community to ramp up efforts, saying ‘Iran’s nuclear program won’t stop until it’s stopped’

As tensions between Iran and the West ramped up this week, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett warned in an interview published Saturday that Tehran was drawing “dangerously close” to producing nuclear weapons.

“Iran is enriching uranium at an unprecedented rate and moving dangerously close to getting their hands on nuclear weapons,” he told the UK’s Telegraph in an interview.

Bennett called on the global community to join Israel and ramp up pressure against Iran’s nuclear program and ambitions.

“Without pressure from the West, the Islamic regime in Iran could get their hands on a nuclear bomb very soon,” he said.

“The world must take a firm stance and tell the Islamic regime in Iran: no nukes, no sanctions. Iran’s nuclear program won’t stop until it’s stopped.”


Rafael Mariano Grossi, the IAEA director-general,
later said Iran is removing 27 surveillance cameras
from nuclear sites in the country,
raising the risk of its inspectors being unable to track Tehran’s advances as it enriches uranium closer than ever to weapons-grade levels.

(CNN)Long-running tensions over Iran's nuclear capabilities may have reached a point of no return this week, thrusting the Middle East into uncharted waters.
Tehran has ramped up uranium enrichment at a pace not seen since the 2015 signing of a landmark deal, which saw Iran curb uranium enrichment in exchange for sanctions relief, before former United States President Donald Trump withdrew from the agreement in 2018.
Analysts believe that Tehran may have already attained the material needed to manufacture a nuclear weapon.

On Thursday, Iran switched off surveillance cameras used by the international nuclear watchdog, the IAEA, to monitor activity at the country's key nuclear facilities. The move, IAEA chief Rafael Grossi warned, could deal a "fatal blow" to negotiations that seek to revive the nuclear deal.

I think the problem for Israel is that Iran could secretly give Hezbollah
a nuclear missile and station it in Lebanon.
Then if it's fired at Tel Aviv - Iran would deny they did it.
So - Iran could get away with wiping Israel off the map.

You want me to provide evidence that Iran has nuclear weapons? <sarcasm>Well, excuse me whilst I get my government authority access to national security details out and show you the data that has been compile from international sources</sarcasm>.

Otherwise, you might want to consider it implausible that India, Pakistan and Israel (which are close to Iran) as having nuclear weapons, but not Iran.

...and at anyone that opposes them. The Iranians have their afterlife goals worked out. So, it is no loss to them if they get killed in retaliatory attacks.
