I use duck duck go, but I always found its search function rather limited at the best of times. |

nearly all search engines just use google as google has the only major web crawler.
as such, google now controls the flow of information. if you want to influence people nowadays, whether you are coca cola, pfizer, tesla or jo biden or scomo, you will have to find a way to grease googles palms or adhere to their ideology or they will manipulate the search to demolish you. if, for example, any politicians tried to limit the power of big tech or tax them (like bernie sanders and tulsi gabbard proposed), big tech would just shadow ban them, and promote only a negative narrative. then google would go to some flunkies like biden and harris and offer them a dream run provided they complied with googles narrative. we will never have free elections again. we will only have googles selections. its amazing people cant see that. as for duck duck go....no one seriously thinks you can go into competition with google. surely people arent that naive |

As opposed to Rupert Murdoch controlling the flow of information. At least google allows you to research. As it has always stood, people are just told what to think by corporate monopolies. |

mr murdoch controls the flow of SOME of the information. but media ownership rules would set a limit on that. google already do and will continue to control the flow of NEARLY ALL of the information. it suits the left that google are pretty woke and are deplatforming many conservative players. but that could very very easily turn around, with a change in their management google are th most dangerous company on the planet |

not surrendered. recognised the reality. most people will be stuck in the mattrix, leading a life of pokes and prods and stimulations and short term pleasure. the chance that most people can escape the technology is zero |

AFAIK Qwant doesn't use goolag. If you must use it then try startpage.com which uses the same engine but hides your ip. |
