Meta, the parent company of Facebook, suffered in early February its biggest one-day loss on Wall Street. The company’s worth plummeted over 26%, which is about 230 billion US dollars.

I only use facebook to stay in contact with family.

I never liked it and I don't see it becoming as dominant as some people think.

I give them nothing, no data, no likes, nothing.

How often and what for?

Big Question: What data do you provide them when using it?

they can get stuffed.

Facebook is only good to use for work group postings. I am getting facebook messages mainly from work about work shift changes. Other than that, I subscribe to news forums and bikini model photos.

Great for buying 2nd bits and pieces.  Lots of stuff is also listed on Gumtree  (which I prefer) but if ur in a hurry to find something you need both

Farcebook earns money by the number of hits it gets. With them downgrading or cancelling posts it leaves less room for money making.

Don't p!ssoff your users they will go elsewhere.

Their messenger app is great for managing group chats and phone calls. It's great for keeping in touch with old friends and distant relatives, sharing photos etc. Marketplace is good. The privacy management is reasonable.

It seems to be for old people these days. So it's days are probably numbered.

It's a War over the American society by the older Media v the Internet.

Trump ran for the Presidency because 65,000 'Interneters' asked him to.
It's obvious that the Media (TV,Radio,Newspapers, etc) see Trump (and the Internet) as a threat to their hold on power in Politics.
