Why am I seeing the last posts in a thread first?
Is there a simple remedy to fix this so you read from OP to last comment?

Yep.
In the bar at the top of the post there is a little arrow.

Just tap the arrow and all will be as you wish.

You must have accidently touched it when you tried to change the page.

Yep.
