broke my leg in a motorbike accident 3 months ago and went from a cast to a moon boot yesterday, has anyone else had one? was it comfortable? mine is horrible, only benefit is being able to take it off for a shower...

nah they are horrible to wear though, because its got that angled sole to allow you to rock your foot as you walk it feels like your walking on a golf ball,

Haven't had the 'pleasure' of wearing one, but know a few who have... Not comfortable, apparently.

i haven't had a cast or a moon boot, but I did have a brace on my leg for four months early last year, with the brace set so that my leg was permanently bent at about 45 degrees for the whole time the brace stayed on .... not a lot of fun.

the good news is that it'll come back fairly quickly ... In my case, because of the angle of the brace my foot didn't touch the floor once in the four months I wore it ... as a result when it came time to walk again, my leg had forgotten how to ...
