Makes sense that the strongest bits are where the spars are that support the main lift and control mechanisms.  Over the wings is the strongest part, obviously, and the tail obviously is engineered to take stresses from vertical and horizontal movement and to stay on.

The ones that went down were where the pilots and engines were hit and the controls ran, or even the nose was blown off unbalancing the whole thing.

No my argument besides your poor anecdote which essentially shows survivor bias on its own, is that Jewish people are no more or less clever then anyone else. E.g. do I need to explain structural bias?
