No chance of parole... Sirhan Sirhan's name is now synonymous with 21st century terrorism.

Err, don't you mean 20th century Terrorism? Except of course, he wasn't a Terrorist as such... ::) ::) |

No, I mean 21st century terrorism... What's the difference between what he did and what a Hamas fighter today would like to do? As a free man, would be be free to advocate for the advancement of the Palestinian cause? He wasn't a terrorist as such? Subtleties are for debates over insect species distinctions... |

Generalisations are for the ignorant or simple minded. Next you'll be suggesting that Australians are Terrorists... ::) ::) |

Sirhan, 77, has said he had no recollection of the killing, although he has also said he fired at Kennedy because he was enraged by his support for Israel. Touch of the Bidens, right there. When will the Democrats EVER be on America's side? |

You missed the point, but I'm not surprised, it's your MO. Regardless of generalisations' low resolution, they are the lifeblood and the strongest binding agents of a group... And we're all wired for it. It's why all politicians often invoke the us-group dog-whistle when they start a sentence with 'The Australian people...'. Same goes for every 'us' group, including other nations. |

What a fraud you are. Sweeping generalisations are the foundations of national identity. Y’know how it goes, ‘I am, you are, we are Australian’… Works well, so long as no one tries to specify what it means (something like: ‘I know what time is, but now that you ask me, I don’t’). The opposite is the likes of Afghanistan where a generalised identity (other than geographical location) hasn’t developed, so the myth of national identity doesn’t exist, hence no central government has the support of the ‘Afghan people’. Anyway, back to Sirhan Sirhan. Ultimately it will be sent to the Governor to determine whether he will be released, who must make a political decision and take a political gamble: ‘If I approve Sirhan’s release, will there be a backlash of enough outraged citizens, who will easily be convinced that Sirhan is a terrorist by retrospective appellation, and, by that, label me an anti-American supporter of terrorists?’ (i.e., via applying the standards of today retrospectively). See how it works, Pastor? |

Sirhan used a .22 caliber Iver-Johnson Cadet 55A revolver, suitable for a ladies handbag to defend against Donald J. A pea shooter. Fly in a bottle. It's part of normal US conversations and used to emphasise a disputed point in discussions. No real American guy would be terrorised and Robert was unlucky on the day.

Which is itself a generalisation - and a very stupid one, a typical Bbwianesque idiocy. Gawd, you are stupid. A generalisation of a concept is an extension of the concept to less-specific criteria. It is a foundational element of logic and human reasoning. Generalisation posits the existence of a domain or set of elements, as well as one or more common characteristics shared by those elements. As such, it is the essential basis of all valid deductive inference. The process of verification is necessary to determine whether a generalisation holds true for any given situation. https://psychology.wikia.org/wiki/Generalization |

He took someones life because he did not like his politics. He was sentenced to life imprisonment and that is what he should serve.

I'd bet the Governor would agree... The fewer political dice to roll, the better. |
