Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
7  As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.
8  They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity.
9  And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings.
10  For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD.

Psalms 119:165
Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

Definitely feeling the illness of late. I normally have a couple of Strepsils before I go for a walk around the neighbourhood on a winter's night. But, I have been getting worse and worse lately as a result of not cleaning up the house sufficiently. Having organised the house to be reasonably neat, the other issue was having to clean up the walls and ceiling fans of dust and build up.

A few weeks ago, I got the PineO Clean and had a container for the diluted cleaner and a container for the water/rinse. Cleaning 4 ceiling fans lead to me feeling sick a few days later. But, after some apple cider vinegar, I was doing well again. I could imagine how sick I would be if I kept the walls unwashed or the ceiling fans throwing the dust and build up around the room come the spring's usage.

The other day, I had a real stomach pain that leads me to have to sleep off the illness for a few hours. I figured out that it was some chia seeds that had gone off that I was still using. I gave myself food poisoning. Then I realised that I had not been giving all of the fridge shelves a good clean on a regular occasion. Obviously, I have been making myself sick for quite some time. The quality of what I have been eating has improved. But the shelf life of the food being spoiled by an uncleaned fridge meant that the good food was being spoiled quickly.

Between 2017 to today, I have not been sick all that much. And when I did get sick, it was not for long. But, I doubt that anyone is never sick or unwell. Even if you started counting from the time you were an adult to today, I doubt even the most health-conscious person has avoided a cold or influenza.

I felt sick a short few hours ago. Not being able to breathe right or cough properly. The phlegmy feeling I had could not budge. Now, I seem right again. I am so glad that I brought enough lemon juice to shatter windscreens.

I was constantly sick when my now 14y/o was about 4. Cold after cold, even got a dose of pneumonia.

As soon as she left day care, all good.

A good thing to realise.
I'll do that more often now, I am pretty good at throwing out old food.

I don't want to jinx myself but, I feel incredibly healthy.

Just did my bowel cancer home test, and that was all clear (no blood in my poop).

I've had the flu once, maybe twice in my entire life.

Rarely get a cold, although it is quite bad whenever I do get it (every 4 or 5 years, maybe).

I guess this thread has made me realise just how lucky I am.

Once I stopped working in a big recycled a/c building I have not had a flu or a heavy cold.

I did have the flu once in1956 in Woodside Army immigration camp.

One attack of some other virus: I was sitting one Friday in the office behind the brew shop feeling sicker and sicker. I decided to close up and drive home before I got really sick. Good decision—was Wednesday before I was back on duty. Generally, since I left the APS I didn’t get sick.

The other night, I had trouble swallowing. And I had a real chest pain sneezing a few times. This was a day after I had that gut pain, probably the result of food poisoning. I am doing well now. And the common cold that I thought I would get today did not eventuate.

I was in Toowoomba 3 weeks ago. The temperatures were down to 7 degrees. But because of the elevation and the windchill, it felt closer to 2 degrees. I did notice that my niece was wiping her nose with her hand a few times, as if she was trying to stop a runny nose from eventuating. I thought that I would be sick on my way back home. My uncle, being prepped for a hospitalisation a week later, could not afford to be sick. But, his surgery was delayed because of the lockdown. We travelled back, starting the journey in 4-degree temperature morning. I had hot black tea sitting in my bag on the journey. It took until 11am before the tea was cool enough to drink, given the way the thermos was designed.

The vents of the airconditioner in my car, the fans being cleaned. The bathroom and toilet getting its monthly clean, I thought would be enough to get me ill anytime in the last month. But, it was a bout of food poisoning that kept me ill.

I had been feeling generally 'flat', sick and unwell for a couple of years
but put it down to simple aging.

Finally, in May, things came to a head and I ended up in hospital.

Since then, with some serious diet and lifestyle changes I generally
feel better than I have for at least 4 or 5 years.

I'm definitely a lot more active and taking much more interest in things
than I had for some considerable time - which certainly can't be a bad
thing.
