Fish traps aren't aquaculture.... simple, really... they are built to trap fish for immediate use - not for breeding purposes - hence are not aquaculture.

Why not just accept that they did a pretty good job of it and leave it at that without the embellishment?  One can respect the achievements of others without trying to make those achievements more than they are...

Fair enough - maybe one small group of the vastly divided Kaffir worked out that channeling some of the water made trapping fish easier... probably did a study tour to Canada to observe beavers.. it stands to reason that in any population someone must have come up with a good idea.... for that one place.

Two land councils representing more than 40,000 Aboriginal people have lodged a formal complaint with the Independent Commission Against Corruption over the number of staff and students at the University of Sydney who self-identify as Indigenous.

Significance
