Title: Egypt: 20 dead factory fire ... no protests? Post by Laugh till you cry on Mar 12th, 2021 at 12:56pm
If 20 died in an Asian clothing factory fire people would be up in arms about slavery and human trafficking.
The Egyptian military owns the clothing factory as they do countless other businesses in Egypt. Why does a regime which murdered 5000+ civilians and which jailed tens of thousands of civilians have immunity to international criticism? Because their support of Israel gives them a free pass on human rights violations. https://www.dw.com/en/egypt-garment-factory-fire-kills-at-least-20/a-56840817 Quote:

For many races of people who take pride in their ability to produce many children, even when they can't afford to care for them responsibly, even to the point of child abuse.
It's a case for them that "Plenty more where we come from." mentality. |
