I'm not an anti-vaxxer, by any stretch of the imagination.

I was vaccinated as a kid, my kids were vaccinated, and I fully support anyone who wants a flu or COVID jab - it's your choice.

I'll never have a flu jab though and, I won't be having a COVID jab for at least 12 to 18 months if at all.

It's a personal choice, and I would never tell anyone what to do (or not do).

But yes - fools rush in.

That's 0.00008 %

Only one out of those died.

Not a serious percentage of potential problems I'd say.

At least 36 reported ... could be the tip of the iceberg.
It can’t be discounted that any one of us could be included in the bad reaction category, it just can’t be ignored, and I’m not willing to take a Russian roulette chance.
I wouldn’t be able to differentiate between fools...or fear, that rush in for the jab. Probably more to do with fear.

I’m going to wait at least 12 or more months also.
It seems this breakout with the virus in Melbourne (and other states) of late hadn’t caused any deaths for quite some time?
That’s a good thing right? And no one has had any jab in Oz yet.

Its not like a cold that might get reported thrmobocytopenia is an extremely serious condition.

Again, thromobocytopenia is not one of those conditions that might go under the radar.


The rates of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia seem higher than vaccine induced thrombocytopenia.


Additionally, at this stage we do not know whetehr the vaccine caused it.
