Wow. Definitely 'Fangorn Forest' type.
Old, gnarled, twisted and angry looking - just like the Australian Bush.

Did you know that the oldest olive tree in the world is over 2000 years old?

The Olive tree of Vouves in Crete, Greece is probably the oldest olive tree in the world and it still produces olives.

It is confirmed to be at least 2000 years old based on tree ring analysis, but it’s claimed to be between 3000–4000 years old!

That would most probably kill it. Olive trees are adapted to and also produce better in lower nutrient level soils.

Strange then how productive the one in my front garden is but then again trees don’t read the references.
