Title: Netflix Controversy Post by greggerypeccary on Sep 13th, 2020 at 8:38am cods wrote on Sep 13th, 2020 at 7:17am:
Not sure, cods. I know that Donald Trump used to run pageants for teenage girls though, and he used to walk in on them while they were getting dressed. They were as young as 14. Moreover, he openly admits to walking in on them when they were semi-naked. Said it was one of the perks of owning a pageant. Thoughts? |
Title: Re: Netflix Controversy Post by greggerypeccary on Sep 14th, 2020 at 6:18am No comment, cods? |
Title: Re: Netflix Controversy Post by greggerypeccary on Sep 14th, 2020 at 8:39am Donald Trump boasted about meeting semi-naked teenagers in beauty pageants “He just came strolling right in. "There was no second to put a robe on or any sort of clothing or anything. "Some girls were topless. "Other girls were naked.” |

If these girls are very young, where were the Mothers? Surely some bloke couldn't just barge into a dressing room? |

That "some bloke" was the pageant owner - Donald Trump. He said it was one of the perks of running the pageants - he could do whatever he wanted. Sound familiar? |

Title: Re: Netflix Controversy Post by greggerypeccary on Sep 14th, 2020 at 9:28am "Donald Trump was forced to sell the Miss Universe Organization – which also includes sister scholarship programs Miss USA and Miss Teen USA – in 2015 after his incendiary comments about Mexicans drove away broadcasters NBC and Univision. But Trump owned the pageant for nearly two decades, during which time he would have had the opportunity to come into contact with nearly 4,000 beauty queens. "On the heels of the damaging videotape on which Trump and former Access Hollywood host Billy Bush salivated over Days of Our Live actress Arianne Zucker, and joked about sexually assaulting women, came allegations that Trump entered the Miss Teen USA changing room where girls as young as 15 were in various states of undress." From walking into a teen dressing room to joking about his obligation to sleep with contestants, Trump’s a storied pageant creep ... in a 2005 appearance on Howard Stern’s show, Trump bragged about doing exactly what the women describe. “I’ll go backstage before a show, and everyone’s getting dressed and ready and everything else,” he said. |

Nothing to do with my mind, cods. It's a fact. I still don't understand why you continue to defend this alleged child rapist. Even when he admits to something, you jump to his defence. I find it quite disgusting. ... in a 2005 appearance on Howard Stern’s show, Trump bragged about doing exactly what the women describe. “I’ll go backstage before a show, and everyone’s getting dressed and ready and everything else,” he said. |

Title: Re: Netflix Controversy Post by greggerypeccary on Sep 14th, 2020 at 9:32am "Mr Trump said on Howard Stern’s radio show in 2005 that he could ‘get away’ with walking into the dressing room to ‘inspect’ beautiful women". Donald Trump boasted about meeting semi-naked teenagers in beauty pageants The creep confesses to it, and people still rush to his defense. Quite disturbing, to say the least. "Four women who competed in the 1997 Miss Teen USA beauty pageant also said the Republican used to walk in. Some of the girls were as young as 15." |
Title: Re: Netflix Controversy Post by greggerypeccary on Sep 14th, 2020 at 9:37am Well, I'll tell you the funniest is that I’ll go backstage before a show, and everyone's getting dressed and ready and everything else, and you know, no men are anywhere. And I'm allowed to go in because I'm the owner of the pageant and therefore I'm inspecting it. You know, I'm inspecting, I want to make sure that everything is good. You know, the dresses. ‘Is everyone okay?’ You know, they're standing there with no clothes. ‘Is everybody okay?’ And you see these incredible looking women, and so, I sort of get away with things like that. But no, I've been very good. |

And there we go: once again, cods says that the women are all lying. Even though Trump is on tape admitting to it, cods still says the women are lying. The 26 women, including his own wife, who have accused Trump of sexual assault or rape - all lying, according to cods. The children who accused him of rape - liars, according to cods. Truly disgusting. |

Title: Re: Netflix Controversy Post by greggerypeccary on Sep 14th, 2020 at 10:04am “I remember putting on my dress really quick because I was like, ‘Oh my God, there’s a man in here,’” said former Miss Vermont Teen USA Mariah Billado. Trump reportedly said something like, “Don’t worry, ladies, I’ve seen it all before.” A woman in an adult pageant has said that Trump walked into the changing area when the women were completely naked. Trump has openly and publicly bragged about invading such dressing rooms while he owned several beauty pageants for years, including Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA. |
Title: Re: Netflix Controversy Post by greggerypeccary on Sep 14th, 2020 at 10:06am At least four women who competed in a Miss Teen USA beauty pageant told BuzzFeed News that Donald Trump walked into their dressing room while the young contestants were undressed. Some of the girls were as young as 15 years old at the time and said they were distressed at his presence, calling it “shocking” and “creepy.” |

Moderating, is what others call it. Mod = moderator. A discussion moderator or debate moderator is a person whose role is to act as a neutral participant in a debate or discussion, holds participants to time limits and tries to keep them from straying off the topic of the questions being raised in the debate. |

But just remember this, straight from FD's rules: "While the rules outlined here apply to the entire forum, moderators of member run boards may go beyond them and be as strict, biased, vague, or whatever, as they want.
