Title: Trump May Walk Away
Post by AiA on Jul 2nd, 2020 at 1:12am
Republican operative tells Fox News that Trump may drop out of the 2020 presidential race

Quote:
His advisors say that he has little interest in the responsibility that comes with being president. He's in the race because he's afraid of being known as a "loser" or a "one-term president."

"The president has told me [on multiple occasions] that he is determined to not be a one-termer, and says that history forever remembers them as 'losers,'" said a former senior Trump administration official, told The Daily Beast.

Quote:
So, if Trump reaches the point where he's sure he's going to lose, would it be less humiliating for him to quit the race and be a one-term president of his own volition or by losing at the ballot box and being forever considering himself a "loser"?

Sounds like something straight out of the fringe media. Ol' F A T T Y is too stupid and too proud to drop out. He enjoys Tweeting over running the country to quit now.

From Russia with love I fly to you
Much wiser since my goodbye to you
I've traveled the world to learn
I must return from Russia with love
I've seen places, faces and smiled for a moment
But oh, you haunted me so
Still my tongue tied, young pride
Would not let my love for you show
I case you say no
To Russia I flew but there and then
I suddenly knew you'd care again
My running around is through
I fly to you, from Russia with love

You would think that it being reported on Fox might get some of the usual suspects to take notice and maybe take it seriously, but somehow I don't think that' show this will happen.

Might help OAN get more viewers.

I can see this going either away. His narcissism may force him to say I'm going to lose, better to resign than get beaten.

Or his narcissism may say theres no way I can be beaten.

My thoughts exactly.

The smart move would be going out with dignity.

Cite health reasons, or wanting to spend more time with Barron before he grows up, etc.

His supporters would lap it up.

"He made America great again in just four years, and now he's spending time with his family. What an awesome guy".

BUT, does he really believe he's going to win again?

How Trump loses is irrelevant. Biden's already said what he'll do when the time comes to investigate.

He said he'll stand aside and let justice take its course. That means the FBI looking into Stormy et al and the state of New York looking into charity fraud, etc. For all we know, New York already has the indictments waiting to go.

Mike Cohen's doing three years for a crime he has Trump on tape ordering him to do. That's a slam dunk case. The only question is which jurisdiction will win the job of prosecuting.

Trump's only way out is a Biden pardon. Biden would be a fool to do this - it cost Gerald Ford his re-election for pardoning Nixon. There's probably far more knives sharpened for Trump today than there were for Nixon. America is even more divided now than it was then.

When Trump goes, there will be a groundswell for justice. It'll definitely be payback time. Trump of all people should know this.

Soon he'll be back to being an ordinary citizen again. Let's see how he goes getting out of that.

Trump The Musical has been done.

I'd love to see Seth MacFarlane do a production.

I'm not surprised given what he's had to endure. The criminals sure can fight hard. Unfortunately Trump underestimated how deep and rancid is the swamp - the Demons and their minions control America.

Interesting to notice the difference watching a replay of an infrequent Obama press conference and his media cheer squad. Applause at every word and mealy mouthed questions - such a contrast to Trumps press conferences.

biden will have bigger problems than trump if he wins.

a 78 yo with dementia having to deal with the fed possibly collapsing, banking collapses, 15 % unemployment, very high inflation leading to cranking up of iterest rates.
if rates hit 10 % (they hit 20 % in 1980), then the entire federal tax take wont pay the interest bill on the debt.
the collapse of the housing market.

and you think he's going to be allowed to focus on trump being naughty.

not a chance.

bidens timing is terrible.

i think trump can see the next 4 years are armageddon and he is doing everything he can to lose and get the hell out

Exactly and this is what Trump ALWAYS DOES.

When things get tough, when his lies and bold impossible claims can no longer be supported by his "TRUMP" branding and people expect actual results or something tangible to be delivered, not just promises of it he gives up and declared bankruptcy, or in this case, apparently tries to deliberately lose the election.

It's what people have been warning about all along.

Trump had created so many divisions in the country all to hide his poor performance that during a time of a national, an international crisis when the country need to work together to try and control or even just slow the spread of a global pandemic, the divisions are too deep and Trump himself was still creating them around claims of the virus being a democrat hoax, masks being bad, social distancing and other measures to slow the virus being bad or leaning into the racism that fuels his supporters with "kung flu" etc.

The result of all of this is what we see now, the virus is out of control int he US.

And as you like to continue to point out scoot, the true infection rate is likely 9 to 10 times more than is being caught by the limited testing available.  That means there are potentially around 500,000 new infections daily.

I think at this point, one would be forgiven if they started to call the virus, at least within the US, the "Trump Virus".

So all those people warning that a Trump presidency would result in him bankrupting the country, they were pretty close after all.  Even before the Pandemic, his spending was out of control and things for the average American weren't improving, they were getting worse.  He's lucky in a way that the USA has been so badly hit by the Trump Virus because it covers the tracks of his complete and utter failures.

So for once Scoot, I think we agree.  Trump giving up is just another example of faux Alpha he's always been.

There is no doubt he's good at creating a business and personally profiting from its launch and it's clear this is his passion.  He considers himself a builder.

But when it comes to the nuts and bolts of actually operating and delivering, it's like kryptonite for him.

This is why he's so addicted to his rallies.  It's the "building part" of a Presidential campaign.  His problem is he won the election.

He still wants to build, he still wants to get the cheers and applause for all the things he'll say he'll do.

But he just doesn't have it in him to actually deliver.  He won't get the same applause as being the salesman for his business, his policies if he takes the time to work on them and actually delivers.  And it's made worse by the fact that his claims are so obviously bullshit and unachievable.

Mexico will pay for the wall?

Obamacare will be replaced with something better and everyone will have coverage and pay less?

Make America Great Again?

They're all things that sound great and get huge applause, but they are by design impossible to achieve in a way that those applauding them will be happy with the result and still applauding.

So he just moves on to build the next thing.

Over and over and over again, for decades, this has been Trump.

When the going gets tough, he gives up.

It's that simple.

I applaud you Scoot for finally taking the time to pay attention and see the truth of what Trump is.

There is nothing wrong with people like that, they are often risk-takers, but only because they don't really care about the outcome so long as they profit from the start-up, which he always seems to do.

Oh, I know. Fox and all the rest sat there lapping it up. They loved Obama, couldn't get enough of him.

But Mr Trump, never! Look at the grilling he was forced to endure from Hannity at his town hall press conference last week.

Mr Trump narrowly survived that. Then it was onto Tucker to do it all again.

So unfair. But do you know who really loses out, Rich? Real Americans like you and I. All we want to see is our president doing his job and protecting the lives - I mean, values - of Real America. Statues, things like that.

It's pretty hard to save lives when China keeps sending viruses over to make Mr Trump look bad.

The biggest difference in the press conferences was Obama never lied like Trump leading up to them so the questions were to keep him accountable, not question his lies and get to the truth.

I can see why, as a Trump supporter, you'd feel this is unfair and the media were on the side of Obama, but the media are on the side of the truth.  Obama wasn't perfect, he told some whoppers, but Trump probably lies more in a single day of his Presidency, especially now, than Obama did in his 2 terms.

That's no excuse for Obama, but you trying to cast Trump as the victim is ridiculous.

If Trump just told the Truth and actually worked to achieve his goals, the media wouldn't be trying to interrogate him to get to the truth, they wouldn't need to.

And you're right that Trump knows how deep and rancid the Swamp is, but it's because his feet are at the bottom of it.

When you have to brand everyone a deep state swamp monster, even those who were either handpicked, once trusted by Trump or BOTH, you have to sit back and ask yourself who the actual swamp monster is...

It's like the joke about an elderly wife calling her husband who is driving home, warning him about a single crazed driver who is driving not the wrong side of the highway.  When he talks to her on the phone he says he knows but there 100s of them!

This is because he's the driver going the wrong way, to him it looks like everyone else is.

That's Trump, Trump is the one in the swamp and everyone else had to be branded swamp monsters because of how deep in there Trump is.

I know you will have read my post and be triggered by it Rich, you generally can't handle the truth which for someone as red pilled as you, I understand so there is no need to reply.

You can continue to ignore this post like my others asking you for a civil discussion.  I get it, dancing around the truth is bloody hard, that's why I embrace it.

But I forgive you.  I'll still be here if you ever wake up and want to learn more about what is really happening.

Hang on, Obama actually held press conferences. Staged media events don't count. Rose Garden pressers with the Air Force One chopper standing by to drown out questions don't count. "Town Hall" infomercials with Hannity and an audience fed questions don't count. Nor do staged rallies where he gets no questions at all.

Trump can't even get them right, blurting out stuff like his strategy to lower coronavirus numbers by slowing down testing. Obama faced real journalists at real press conferences. When they asked tough questions, he answered. He didn't say stuff like "go ask Chi-na" or threaten to sue for being asked about the polls, he let them ask what they wanted and he gave tough questions real answers.

Why would anybody make out otherwise? The media gave Obama hell. He was known as a do-nothing president because a Republican-majority congress and senate gave him hell too. Just think, when Trump offers his most proud "achievement" in office as judicial appointments, it's because every appointment Obama proposed for his last three years in office was rejected.

This was Republican strategy. They blocked nearly every reform no matter how much Obama conceded and tried to work with them.

You know that. You don't have to water down history in an attempt to engage Rich. He'll never see the light. Rich only sees leftards and rightards. He doesn't have any beliefs of his own. Ask him - he'll just regurgitate what he's told.

ohh please ... anything that he has had to endure has been of his own making. Lying about almost everything, even when he knows it was caught on camera, and then having to lie about his lies in the hope that everyone watching is so stupid he'll get away with it. In part, it's the fault of you stupid trumpards, his fans that are so willing to believe his every excuse no matter how absurd. He actually thought that if he could fool you all, he might fool everyone. Instead that hasn't eventuated. A large portion that voted for him (despite his lies) because they'd hoped he might be different aren't going to give him another chance. He now realises that. The swinging voters tried different ... they got ineptitude by someone who was unfit to run the country .... the swing voters now want honesty and aptitude  ... something severely missing for the last four years.

Trump ran for the job of President because he wanted ratings, instead he got responsibility. He can't handle it.

Plus it's really McConnelle's achievement, not Trump's.

But you're right, they're all good points.  It's been so long since we have a real President of the USA, I'd forgotten what Obama had to go through...

The sign of a true Trumptard.  Demand people do their own research, "READ THE TRANSCRIPT", don't be a SHEEP!

But when you ask if they've read the transcript, "well no, but I don't need to, it was a perfect call".

Yeah... "Don't be sheep", well done.

So, Trump's got a new campaign t-shirt.

I'm guessing his fans will love it.

Yep.

I wish I was joking but no, it's real.

The new Trump campaign t-shirt has a Nazi emblem on it.

They don't even bother hiding it anymore.

Plus it's really McConnelle's achievement, not Trump's.

But you're right, they're all good points.  It's been so long since we have a real President of the USA, I'd forgotten what Obama had to go through...

Quote:
This was Republican strategy. They blocked nearly every reform no matter how much Obama conceded and tried to work with them.

You know that. You don't have to water down history in an attempt to engage Rich. He'll never see the light. Rich only sees leftards and rightards. He doesn't have any beliefs of his own. Ask him - he'll just regurgitate what he's told.

The sign of a true Trumptard.  Demand people do their own research, "READ THE TRANSCRIPT", don't be a SHEEP!

But when you ask if they've read the transcript, "well no, but I don't need to, it was a perfect call".

Yeah... "Don't be sheep", well done.

Or Aquascoot's study him - 5 years is the minimum.

So did you watch his speech?

I don't actually listen to him speak.

But you realise it was all lies?

Sure. Real Americans like a bit of a bullshitartist, it's the new paradigm.

Is that the one where he he promised to cut through all the lies and just tell it how it is?

That's it.

By telling more lies?

Exactly.

Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?

Never. Why do you ask?

That may be if the globalist/Marxists come to power. They will deem all counter revolutionaries criminal and those that upheld the former constitution will be sent to reeducation camps or killed.

if it was about Justice that's exactly what you'd see. But I don't have an awful lot of faith in justice in the American system.
