Title: Coon Cheese Post by Black Orchid on Jun 21st, 2020 at 9:59pm
Should Coon cheese be renamed? Should a brand that has been a part of Australian culture for decades ,and not founded in racism, be another casualty at the hands of the snowflakes?
Coon was named after its creator, Edward William Coon, in 1935. It's a surname and not founded in racism in any way shape or form. Are they going to eradicate his surname along with his ancestry and family history as well? What's next? Banning the surnames Black and Brown for white people? If we allow the weak and stupid to whitewash and change history how are future generations ever going to learn how far we have progressed in the past few hundred years? Anyway I digress ... |

If changing the name of a cheese would stop Aboriginals sniffing petrol, abusing their kids and drinking themselves to death, I'd be all for it, but all we'd end up with is the same old cheese, different wrapper.

Face it. The only way you will be able to stop all this is to just commit to open War. ;)
Other than that, one day you will be swearing allegiance to the Koori Flag. |

No. It's a ridiculous suggestion. Who's calling for this change - 15 million Australians, or a couple of idiots on Facebook? |

An autistic poof who has a who has a show on ABC TV came up with this one, and the ABC ran with the story first, they're pushing their little agenda...again.

Why is the taxpayer funded national broadcaster pushing the agenda of one homo autistic and totally unfunny comedian?

Okay, I did some research. The unfunny "comedian" posted a picture of Coon Cheese on Twitter with the comment "Hey Australia - are we still chill with this?" A few people replied to him: some said they weren't okay with it, and some said they were. “100 per cent chill. It's a non-issue,” said one. And that's all I can find. No organised campaign to change the name, nothing. Just one uninformed twit (pun intended) who asked a question. FFS, you guys are so easily triggered. Take your blood pressure medication, make a nice warm cuppa, and have a little rest. Crisis over. |

Have Aboriginals culturally appropriated the surname of the Coon Family and owner of Coon Cheese, even though it had no relation to the Aboriginal use of the word Coon in their culture which they seem to not like non-Aboriginal people using in or 'outside' their cultural sphere of empowerment?? :-?
What's your views on this Bojack 'word' Cop? Is it up to your standard? It's just a word. Does the word Coon offend you in relation to cheese? |

Many aboriginals have Irish surnames. Wonder why that is? ;)
