I don't think that you can get around that he used the word hoax (one of his favorites) and he was talking about the Media and the democrats exaggerating the virus risk. He is still trying to minimise the risk, playing it down is probably not a good thing.

By claiming that the message about the virus is a hoax there is little separation between that and calling the virus a hoax.

You would think that the majority of the audience would have heard the words Coronavirus and hoax.

Holding the President and Vice President to account for their actions is not politicising an issue.

They couldn't even get the details of the first fatality right when announcing it.  1 person, it's not hard.  They are incompitent.  The only hoax is that they're running a tight ship.

China's quaranteens and actions gave the world best part of 2 months to prepare. The US - Trump made a speech the other day puts the dope Pence in charge. They have done about 400 tests when other places have managed in excess of 30,000. They let the virus loose in the USA through incompetence.

It's expected a flu will be doing the rounds shortly and Australia (and I'm sure USA) is rushing to get adequate stocks of the vaccines early to help prevent Corona/flu co-infections. All he did was get in the way of the meeting.  For all his complaints of the Dems "hoax" trying to politicise the issue and he does this.  A political stunt if ever there was one.

Yes, he needs to listen to the experts, but he doesn't need to constantly hold the entirety of these meetings in front of the camera where he has to get the validation that he's the smartest person in the room.  This is how you take listening and consulting with experts to using them as set dressing for your campaign video and then ignoring everything they said, especially if they didn't praise or validate Trump enough in the process.

Ah yes, but Mr Trump had a hunch there was something fishy about Obama's birth certificate. He had a hunch unemployment under Obama was at least double or maybe triple the government's figures.
