WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Sixty-one percent of Americans say they are better off than they were three years ago, a higher percentage than in prior election years when an incumbent president was running. In the 1992, 1996 and 2004 election cycles, exactly half said they were better off. In three separate measures during the 2012 election cycle, an average of 45% said they were better off.

Which figure is the more correct , 61 or 49? Maybe 55 ? Why is being lower than Obama the same as better than Obama? Who does Trump approve of for more than 2 weeks ? Does his wife hold his hand ?
eh? |

Even CNN is reporting it as 49%.
Trump's current 49% approval puts him ahead of where his predecessor -- Barack Obama -- was at this same time in his first term. https://edition.cnn.com/2020/02/04/politics/donald-trump-gallup-poll/index.html |

Seems like there are some actual facts why his approval ratings are high. Unemployment in America now stands at 3.6 per cent, the lowest it's been since 1969 — a time that most people remember as truly "great" for the economy. The stock market is regularly hitting all-time record highs, with every milestone trumpeted by Trump. Petrol is cheaper than it's been in 14 years, Trump's income tax cuts have taken full effect and the wages of America's lowest paid workers are growing at the fastest pace in more than a decade. Nearly six in 10 Americans say they are better off financially now compared to a year ago and an astounding 74 per cent believe their economic prospects will continue to improve next year. That's the most optimistic Americans have been since Gallup started polling on the issue in 1977. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-02-14/donald-trump-has-a-new-secret-weapon-for-2020-election/11964870 |

This ones weird, because I'm certain you could ask any Yank about 1969 and what the country was like and their response would be "yeah we fought in a losing war, we had social, racial problems but bugger me the economy was awesome" |

That's just garbage, Gordon. Ninety-eight percent of Americans are chodes who live lives of pure garbage. They put their hands out to the boss each week and have a sense of entitlement that they'll get paid. They go home to their fat wives and can't even get laid, so they get bitter and moan and become leftards. The "superior man" doesn't think about being "better off", he works tirelessly in the constant search for excellence. Proud, dominant, at ease in his own skin, he knows he's a winner. He has, after all, been winning from day 1. Mr Trump is such a man. He embodies the "Paretto principle": from he who has all, more shall be given". The leftards can't stand it. Mr Trump's very existence is an affront to their sense of entitlement. Selfless, humble, introspective, they despise him. They refuse to learn from "the Master". Such a program takes time. 5 years is the minimum. The chodes are just weak Beta males who only care about being "better off". They can't pleasure their fillies, they have a "poverty mentality". Neitzsche said they probably go to hell when they die. You? |

Yes, but Mr Trump's just trying to wind the leftards up, don't you see? Low approval rating, leftards throw a hissy fit, Mr Trump wins. A bit of quid pro quo, an impeachment, a few alleged child rapes - the leftards have a right old tizz. It's masterful. They play into his hands every time. If the leftards just studied him for 5 years and agreed with everything he said, where would Mr Trump be then? Sitting in the spa in the Trump Tower penthouse with a champagne glass of Diet Coke, that's where. Living it up with Melania and the fillies, engaging in a few watersports or what have you. Tearing out her hair, perhaps, and sticking it up her arsehole - It was YOU! You put me onto that LA quack, you stupid bitch! Is this how you want me to look? You want to make me look like a clown? Well? Do you? He'd probably still get four more years, dear, but it wouldn't be nearly as fun. |

I agree. Mr Trump is leading his race out of the wilderness, offering God's Chosen People a sublime vision of the Promised Land. Imagine, the poor huddled masses, yearning to breathe free. Oil men, property developers, arms manufacturers, Mr Trump will deliver them and their firstborn sons from Pharoh, slaying the tinted races, globalists and rubbish countries in his path - Devil begone! We'll win - so much winning. Slash environmental regulations, corporate taxes, inheritance taxes. The proud white race will be led out of slavery, victims no more, but a storm of blood and fire, championing the strong and purging the weak from our midst. I think it's a smart move. You? |

You poor dopey bugga. This is two weeks old and Trumps rating is right back where it has been for the full term - Yes he is back to his normal 42%. Right where a failed dictator should be. |
Title: Re: Trump's approval rating Post by chimera on Feb 15th, 2020 at 8:30am
He is NOT a failed dictator , how rude. He has perfectly beaten the legislative orders for witnesses in the White House to testify and beaten the Judicial branch in the Stone case. When questioned he says he has the right to reject democratic principles of separation of powers , like any citizen. All Americans are dictators now which is great and will make war anytime they choose. Perfect.

Side-by-side photos of the 2017 inauguration crowds and 2009 inauguration crowds on the National Mall show a noticeable difference, with 2009’s crowds filling up more of the space, from the perspective of the Washington Monument looking toward the Capitol. |
