Title: Bushfires not due to climate change Post by Baronvonrort on Jan 2nd, 2020 at 4:22pm
Those from the climate change religion say we should listen to the scientists.
Quote:
Those from the climate change religion ignore the scientists who go against the narrative the climate change religion is trying to construct. |

Do skeptics ever feel guilty that they may be wrong, and their only real contribution to society is smacking up our planet? At least if science is wrong it just costs money.

That's it in a nutshell. Maniacal green left bureaucratism is responsible for: human deaths, animal torture and slaughter on an unimaginable scale, torching hundreds of homes, destroying millions of hectares of our native flora. When will the people wake up? |

The Media consciousness has just let rip via the Golden Globes recently that it is "Due to Climate Change".
Now there's a big statement from the Entertainment Industry. |

Yes. Considering these Fires were 'self inflicted' by poor Land Management by the same 'mentality' that provided poor Water Management as we have seen recently. For the likes of Foreign Celebrities to come out and say its 'Climate Change' is a very slender branch to walk out on. Why couldn't they say "Poor Governmental Management of Australia" instead? |

Why has this become an either/ or question? Climate change & bad land management are only two of the many contributing factors.

You do understand the Greens policy of wanting a quid pro quo to pass legislation? And of course do not confuse Greens with the Greens Party. From The Conversation s it must be true - "As monstrous blazes overwhelm Australia’s south-east, the need for a national bushfire policy has never been more urgent. Active land management such as hazard-reduction burning and forest thinning must lie at the core of any such policy. Done well, controlled burning limits a bushfire’s spread and makes suppression easier, by reducing the amount of flammable material. Clearing or thinning vegetation on roadsides and other areas also helps maintain fuel breaks, allowing firefighters access to forests in an emergency. As former fire chiefs recently pointed out, of all factors driving a fire’s severity – temperature, wind speed, topography, fuel moisture and fuel load – fuel load is the only one humans can influence. Canberra has not got a lot to do with state controlled *vegetation, land and water management*. We apply to the various state authorities for permits to: clear land, burn off, build a dam, sink a bore, erect a building, etc., the draconian rules and regulations that we have to navigate each time we want to do some improvements or maintenance on our land, reek of dictatorial left-wing green thinking. It's as simple as that, we are not allowed to control our own land and work practices, if we do not concede to the stupid rules and regulations we are prosecuted. Right now because of these stupid green left rules and regulations, the country is alight, animals have been tortured and slaughtered by the tens of thousand, homes have been burnt to the ground, people have been murdered, millions of hectares of flora have been totally destroyed. The green left alliance has a lot to answer for. |

I was an early Greens voter from way back before and up until the Gordon below Franklin era.
The original Greens effort was due to 80% of Australia being deforested. Since then, they have become a sub-ALP branch (like the Democrats are now a sub-NLP branch) and their approach has been somewhat dissapointing in how they have gone about their agendas. |

"UPDATE 14/11/19:
Speaking earlier this week, Mr Packham confirmed his position on what is causing the current severe bushfire conditions. Addressing the matter on Sky News, he said fuel loads remain the core issue. "The most important (factor) is the dryness of the fuel, which comes from the hot dry weather," he said. "It's not behind the lot of it, it's behind all of it. The theory is as solid as the universal theory of gravitation." "+ From the earlier piece - "Linking the bushfire disaster in NSW to climate change is "an absolute nonsense" and reducing fuel loads in the Australian bush is urgently needed, a leading scientist says. Retired Monash University researcher David Packham says global warming is a gradual process which doesn't explain major bushfires." https://www.sbs.com.au/news/fires-not-due-to-climate-change-expert I rhink you need to clean your "read between the lines" glasses. ;) |

183 arsonists arrested: Are climate change alarmists to blame for Australia’s massive fires?
Published 18 hours ago on January 6, 2020 https://noqreport.com/2020/01/06/183-arsonists-arrested-climate-change-alarmists-blame-australias-massive-fires/ Nearly 200 People Arrested Across Australia For Deliberately Starting Bushfires A total of 183 people have been arrested by police in Queensland, NSW, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania for lighting bushfires over the last few months, figures obtained by news agency AAP show. In New South Wales, 24 people were arrested for arson, risking prison sentences of up to 25 years. In Queensland, police concluded that 103 of the fires had been deliberately lit, with 98 people, 67 of them juveniles, having been identified as the culprits. Around 85 per cent of bushfires are caused by humans either deliberately or accidentally starting them, according to Dr Paul Read, co-director of the National Centre for Research in Bushfire and Arson. |
