I have some evidence that the Greenies predicted that the fires would happened if we kept burning coal.

The Greenies are finished now that it is common knowledge that these evil beasts caused the bush fires. |

The Greens fkuckup everything they touch.
In November 2009, Penny Wong and the Coalition’s climate change spokesman, Ian Macfarlane, negotiated a package that could be passed through the parliament, but Turnbull was replaced as Liberal leader within days by Tony Abbott and a secret ballot of the Coalition party room rejected the Wong–Macfarlane agreement. Any prospect of consensus between the major parties had been dealt a death blow. On Abbott’s first full day as Liberal leader, the Greens inexplicably delivered him an enormous strategic victory, voting with him to defeat Rudd’s Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme. This short-sighted tactical manoeuvre allowed Abbott to begin to build the momentum that has hamstrung long-term climate action for almost a decade https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2017/jul/05/how-australia-bungled-climate-policy-to-create-a-decade-of-disappointment |

Speaking to the media in Sydney today the Prime Minister specifically linked climate change and the requirement for reforms. Mr Morrison said there was “a need to address issues around hazard reduction for national parks, dealing with land clearing laws, zoning laws and planning laws around people’s properties and where they can be built in countries like Australia, up and down the coast”. “That being the case with the climatic effects of what we are seeing, there are many restrictions around those effects that have to be reviewed on the basis on the broader climatic effect we are seeing in this country,” Mr Morrison said. The PM said there were “many contributing factors” to the fire season, none more significant than the drought which had “created a tinderbox around the country” and seen “these fires run for long periods of time, particularly when there is no dousing rain that has normally followed.” The issue of “fuel loads” was also “very clear”, Mr Morrison said. “That has been a constant source of feedback by those on the ground,” he said. “Issues in national parks and issues of hazard reduction and how that has worked over a period of time, that needs to be looked at undoubtedly.” in between bouts of drought and bushfires we become complacent...its an aussie thing... |

How many more homes?" wrote Smith. "How many more acres of destroyed forest and bushland? How many more lives? How much more do we need to endure until you Muppets realise you f**ked up?"
Smith, who volunteers his time as a rural firefighter in Queensland, said that every time there is a disaster like this, "thousands of people like myself drop what we are doing and go to work. We put ourselves in harm's way so that another family can have a house to sleep in." The "authority figures that have stood for environmental protection" over the past five years are "directly responsible for this devastation", Smith wrote. "The fuel loading we are seeing out on the ground is ridiculous. We are looking at 5-10 years of growth, this fuel source is making these fires untouchable, we can't even get near them to fight them." |

shameful stuff
we have had 10 years to grow a spine and stare down the green monster Living in an area like Healesville, whether because of dumb luck or whatever, we have not experienced a fire … since … about 1963. God help us if we ever do, because it will make Ash Wednesday look like a picnic." God help him, he was right. Gentle complained of obstruction from green local government authorities of any type of fire mitigation strategies. He told of green interference at Kinglake - at the epicentre of Saturday's disaster, where at least 147 people died - during a smaller fire there in 2007. "The contractors were out working on the fire lines. They put in containment lines and cleared off some of the fire trails. Two weeks later that fire broke out, but unfortunately those trails had been blocked up again [by greens] to turn it back to its natural state … Instances like that are just too numerous to mention. Governments … have been in too much of a rush to appease green idealism … This thing about locking up forests is just not working." The Kinglake area was a nature-loving community of tree-changers, organic farmers and artists to the north of Melbourne. A council committed to reducing carbon emissions dominates the Nillumbik shire, a so-called "green wedge" area, where restrictions on removing vegetation around houses reportedly added to the dangers. In nearby St Andrews, where more than 20 people are believed to have died, surviving residents have spoken angrily of "greenies" who prevented them from cutting back trees near their property, including in one case, a tea tree that went "whoomp". Dr Phil Cheney, the former head of the CSIRO's bushfire research unit and one of the pioneers of prescribed burning, said yesterday if the fire-ravaged Victorian areas had been hazard-reduced, the flames would not have been as intense |

I think that's faulty reasoning. If the Coalition has Federal control of the Lower House but Labor and the Greens have more than 50% of the senate seats, more than likely they have to compromise on legislation proposals to get bills passed. If the compromises are more in line with the views of The Green rather than the Coalition, or if the proposed bill gets rejected outright, most Liberal supporters are going to resent The Greens, not vote for them. Then again, the German National Socialist Party pulled the same tactic and we all know how that went! |

many people have latched onto them in the hope they're the good guys and many of the greens supporters are genuine and trying to help They don't realise that the leadership of the Greens are OWNED, bought and paid for ACTORS leading the sheep to their doom via craftily scripted talkie talk If you criticise the greens, their deluded supporters will stop listening it's all crafted, planned, scripted with the green leadership playing so-concerned, so genuine Not sure what will cause greens supporters to take a look around and realise they're being hoodwinked maybe they'll never wake up The media pushes the greens as the good guy alternative and keeps the green leaderships feet of clay well hidden from the poor public |

The chief accuser is Nationals MP Barnaby Joyce who says “greens policy” gets in the way “of many of the practicalities of fighting a fire and managing it”. Among Joyce’s claims, made in several interviews this week, are that Greens policies have made hazard reduction activities more difficult. This claim, just to be clear, is about the policies of a party that has never been in government. Joyce also blamed the Greens for “paperwork” that made it harder to carry out hazard reduction activities. “It’s not burning because they burnt off, it’s burning because they didn’t burn off,” Joyce told SkyNews. According to Bradstock, Joyce’s claims are familiar but “without foundation.” “It’s simply conspiracy stuff. It’s an obvious attempt to deflect the conversation away from climate change.” A former NSW fire and rescue commissioner, Greg Mullins, has written this week that the hotter and drier conditions, and the higher fire danger ratings, were preventing agencies from carrying out prescribed burning. He said: “Blaming ‘greenies’ for stopping these important measures is a familiar, populist, but basically untrue claim.” |
