The Inspector General’s report revealed that John McCain funneled several junk Trump-Russia documents to the FBI after Steele’s termination from the elite spy agency.

John McCain was a willing dupe for the deep state FBI.

What a disgrace.

Aaron Klein reported at Breitbart:

Late Senator John McCain provided disgraced former FBI chief James Comey with five separate reports from Christopher Steele that the FBI didn’t previously possess related to unsubstantiated allegations of collusion between Russia and President Trump’s 2016 campaign, the Justice Department’s recent Inspector General report revealed.

There have long been questions about why it was necessary for McCain to pass Steele’s anti-Trump dossier to Comey on December 9, 2016, several weeks after the November 2016 presidential election. By then, Steele had already met numerous times with FBI agents to provide them with his controversial reports. Steele, however, was terminated as an FBI source in the fall of 2016 because he spoke to the news media.

The IG report discloses that McCain gave five new Steele reports to Comey that the FBI did not previously possess, showing that McCain served as a conduit for Steele’s information to reach the FBI even after the British ex-spy was formally cut off as an FBI source.

It is not clear whether McCain knew at the time that Steele had previously been terminated as an FBI source.

Parts of the Steele dossier were wanting but the vast majority of the document was accurate with some parts still in limbo neither confirmed or refuted.

That is the nature of this type of research. The right have done a great job of tainting the document likely well beyond what it deserved.

Trump didn't know about this till a few days ago. The Hero and one of the most honest politicians McCain was long dead.

He was advised to give the info to the FBI by Republican senator Lindsay Graham which is exactly what he should have done when given such material.

You obviously think that he should have either sat on it or given it to the media ? Any suggestions other than to give it to the people that politicians are meant to report such information to - the FBI ?

McStain doesn't deserve my respect, he actually earned my contempt. He only identified as a Republican because he couldn't have won election as a Democrat. He would have never been mistaken for Barry Goldwater. His personal actions against Trump were just petty and the phony Russian slander were as much his doing as the Democrats. His actions were against a political outsider who was a threat to the Washington Swamp.

You people condemn Trump for his comments about Groupies but forget outbursts by St. John. During his pretend campaign in 2008 he was heard over an open microphone calling his wife a stupid cun1. As an individual he had a very unpleasant disposition and was prone to back stabbing and two faced comments.
