Unfortunately I don't think it will happen like he says. Great concept but it won't work.
Why? There are to many corrupted mongrels in this world that would then want to hijack this new system and take control over what is released rather than what is a lie.
Just look at the way Google is sensored. Don't believe it. Try Duckduckgo.

A news article is released. The person in charge of fact checking is only using someone else's opinion. The person the article is about says "that's a lie". Is it then removed? Let's say it is.
But 2 months later it is proven to be fact. Then it is put back up... or just left deleted and forgotten.

So social media should ban liars?

Last week a journo was banned from twitter for posting that a black transgender woman is statistically 10 x more likely to be assaulted then a white transgender woman and that the perpetrators of assault on transgender people were more likely to be black.
This was backed up by crime statistics from the LAPD and was not a lie.

In fact twitter admitted it was factual but still gave the author a permanent ban for breaching rules in the terms of service.

Now if the truth , even admitted by the outlets can still get you banned, then we are in trouble indeed.

Ion hirsi Ali also received a ban for posting about a young Muslim girl who was strangled to death with her hijab because she refused to wear it inside the home. Again, twitter acknowledged the truth of the story but a temporary ban was made because this breached the terms of service.

So who decides what is allowed on these sites.

It obviously is ideologically driven and propagandistic, even by the admission of the sites themselves

Facebook and twitter have about the same amount of left and right users as there are ppl. Zuckerberg is a fascist though.

I don't use Facebook at all, but that doesn't stop people feeling the need to show me their accounts on their phones or whatever.

From what I've seen, Facebook seems to be overflowing with conservatives full of hatred, and right-wing extremists.

Yeah that's what I see too but it might just be what I see. There are millions of ppl on there and they can't all be right wing extremists .... The others Polly stay quiet (or go to facebook jail).

I am in facebook jail. Been there a long time. I dissed the Jewish god in an atheist group and for some reason I got jailed.

Well obviously he's trying to help censor one of the last bastions of absolute free speech. Just because the greedy corporate based system we have is getting worried. Well if they did the right things in the first place and didn't abuse their positions there wouldn't be so much anger out there.
