Don't laugh Ajax. Australia's early history was of men riding bicycles way more than they did horses. Australians were the world's first 'Mass' cycling nation. Many men rode their bikes like 26kms to work and back home each day. Spare tubes made it quick and easy to get to each destination a lot quicker and far cheaper than owning a horse.
As for Chinese Electric Cars? Well they'll only last a year and break down, where the cost of buying a new one, is less than fixing the one you got. If this isn't mass pollution of the world and a wasteful act of resources beyond justifying 'mass population' threats. ::) I'm not afraid of a Chinese Military Invasion! Their Machines would break down in the first year of offensive and they would have to keep replacing them. Their Military will send the nation broke!!! ;D Stupid low gene pool variation primitives. ::) |

If I have to get one of those electric vehicles I will be ripping the electric motor and batteries out straight away and put in a Windsor V8.

Title: Re: Your next car may be Chinese and electric Post by Sprintcyclist on Dec 27th, 2019 at 4:59pm I dream of an electric car, powered by solar panels that make the exterior of that car. |

Solar panels would need to be about 10000x more efficient for that to work. Having solar panels on your roof that powers a hydrogen maker is the way to go. |

That's true, at present a car loaded with solar panels would drive about an inch an hour. |
